Two vandalism edits in a year does not require protecting a page. MajrTalk

Leave the redirect[]

I guess we're going to have to discuss each time that a version history page is moved without leaving a redirect, even if it's a likely search term, pages link to it, and there's no reason not to create it, which is the case for Alpha 1.0. Alpha 1.0 is a term that I, and I'm sure many others, used to search for very often, and I really think that readers would find it annoying and possibly confusing if they go to the nonexistent page and see the deletion notice. There are also several pages that link to it, which I get could be fixed, but come one, isn't it easier just to create one redirect? Also, is there any problem with having the redirect? The pages at WhatLinksHere don't actually seem to link to the page, which is weird. I can't find any actual links on them. I'd say go ahead with the redirect if you really want. - MinecraftPhotos4U (talk) 13:00, 5 May 2018 (UTC)
I found and fixed one link. One more is on this page, and the rest are due to #ifexist calls by a template, probably by {{Version nav}}. --AttemptToCallNil (report bug, view backtrace) 13:11, 5 May 2018 (UTC)
Yeah, there really should be redirects whenever a page is moved. @MinecraftPhotos4U: we've had this discussion before lol. ―HalfOfAKebab (talk, contribs) 15:41, 5 May 2018 (UTC)

Keep the version number, but add a redirect[]

The version was originally referred to as Infdev 20100630-2, but Notch later named it Alpha 1.0.0. This version can be referred to as both, but Alpha 1.0.0 should be preferred in my opinion. I think it's best to create a page for Infdev 20100630-2 but have it redirect here. Gavinmdavis (talk) 18:00, 29 October 2020 (UTC)

Seeing as Infdev 20100630-2 was renamed to Alpha 1.0.0 by the game's own creator, it doesn't make much sense to me to go against his word here. 19:50, 30 October 2020 (UTC)
Also oppose moving.  Nixinova T  C   19:58, 30 October 2020 (UTC)
I also oppose moving this page. MewtwoTheGreat-gpuser 5:41, 30 July 2021 (UTC)
 Oppose for example, 11w50a wasn't renamed to 11w49a-2 because it's mislabeled as 11w49a in the game.Deshman-gpuser (talk) 08:08, 27 August 2021 (UTC)
