I don't know where to put this, but each book found in an end ship actually contains a proper sentence if you look at the .dat files. for example one of the books says restore Minecraft 3D: Lost Floppies --86.160.122.173 16:42, 1 April 2020 (UTC)
also does anyone know what is happening at 1:00 in the mojang announcement video --86.160.122.173 16:43, 1 April 2020 (UTC)
It looks like a simulation of Langton's Ant. It has been made in Minecraft before, maybe it's a hidden biome in this snapshot? --68.38.115.97 16:50, 1 April 2020 (UTC)
The ant block can be found at the origin of the 'ant' dimension, can confirm it's a simulation of Langton's Ant after observing it for 11,000 steps (it produces the same design as the wikipedia design) 75.102.129.72 17:31, 1 April 2020 (UTC)

A block called Cursor was added, it just flashes black and green without any other uses of which I am aware. --109.66.27.128 16:48, 1 April 2020 (UTC)
I got the antblock to move, you place it on a black concrete path between white concreate --86.160.122.173 16:57, 1 April 2020 (UTC)
Have any of you noticed how in certain dimensions, blocks fade into different colors in a pattern? Could this be the environmental storytelling mentioned in the minecraft.net blog post? --86.160.122.173 17:44, 1 April 2020 (UTC)
Notable books list
There should be a separate section for a list of notable books. Some that have been found so far are 'fleet', 'ant', 'library', 'retro', 'sponge', 'shapes', and 'busy'.
Jakbyte (talk) 18:06, 1 April 2020 (UTC)
'content' and 'llama' also lead to unique dimensions. --KamekSans (talk) 18:34, 1 April 2020 (UTC)
Addendum: Xisumavoid has included a list of most/all notable dimensions in his most recent video. they are as follows:
ant, basic, blacklight, blue, brand, bridges, busy, chess, colors, content, credits, custom, darkness, decay, fleet, gallery, green, holes, isolation, library, llama, message, missing, notes, nothing, origin, patterns, perfection, pillars, red, retro, rooms, shapes, slime, spiral, sponge, terminal, tunnels, wall, zones

Doing '/warp america' once says that the command failed, and doing it again will crash the game.
Jakbyte (talk) 19:06, 1 April 2020 (UTC)
I also made a list in the comments on the second youtube video on the main page for this snapshot
I will copy it here
- "corona" - huge lava lake next to birch forest
- "minecraft" - bedrock flatworld
- "hello" - pumkins, concrete, slime, end style obsidian pillars
- "dab" - door sounds, multicolored end ships everywhere
- "DiamondDemon" - end ships, with a dark shader
- "diamond" - end ships littered with starter chests
- "code" - A dimension that repeatedly plays the "Mojang" sound effect that occurs during this snapshot's loading screen and contains jigsaw blocks. This dimension is very laggy when generating and likely to crash the game.
- "freedom" - A dimension resembling the nether but with grass blocks and flowers overlaying everything.
- "praw" - "Warp" backwards; similar to the "freedom" dimension except the netherrack is replaced with TNT. It seems that naturally generated redstone ore can cause the TNT to explode on it's own and induce game-breaking lag.
- "end" - desert biome, mushroom biome with carpet-spruce trees hostile mobs spawn every second
- "2020" - end gateways and soul sand everywhere
- "april fools" - snow biome, ghasts, end gateways
- "emerald" - warped soil everywhere, islands made of one random block
try /warp herobrine for urself muhahahahahhahahaha
come back soon for more warps and reply about /warp herobrine
Diamonddemon669 (talk) 19:49, 1 April 2020 (UTC)
herobrine was very spooky, it even came with a bee around 0, 0
Edit: all of your dimensions don't really have any special/unique features in them
Jakbyte (talk) 20:00, 1 April 2020 (UTC)
Non special
a lot of the special worlds being added are not ones specifically added as easter eggs and are just worlds that happened to generate a certain way –Preceding unsigned comment was added by 000 (talk • contribs) at 20:16, 1 April 2020 (UTC) (UTC). Please sign your posts with ~~~~
/warp europe
crashing the game –Preceding unsigned comment was added by Eyalonsky (talk • contribs) at 20:25, 1 April 2020 (UTC). Cannot confirem this /warp america crashes the game 73.203.109.234 23:08, 1 April 2020 (UTC) Please sign your posts with ~~~~
Startup sound
In the game files, there are 2 variations of the startup sounds in the folder 'nothingtoseeheremovealong', there is bananana.ogg and banananana.ogg. –Preceding unsigned comment was added by Catt0s (talk • contribs) at 20:33, 1 April 2020 (UTC). Please sign your posts with ~~~~
Changes to the sun/moon
The size of the sun/moon can change, and the moon can also change color –Preceding unsigned comment was added by 50.90.220.157 (talk) at 20:51, 1 April 2020 UTC (UTC). Please sign your posts with ~~~~
ABC dimension
no sound in it –Preceding unsigned comment was added by Eyalonsky (talk • contribs) at 20:57, 1 April 2020 (UTC). Please sign your posts with ~~~~
"dump" dimension
Somebody is insistng that "dump" is one of the easter egg dimensions because it contains ant blocks. To me, it just looks like this dimension coincidentally and randomly had ant blocks in it as the dimension does not appear to have any other unusual features.
Is the "dump" dimension one of the 42 hard-coded ones? If not, I don't think it should not be put under the Easter egg dimensions heading, if mentioned at all.

Stabby McStabface
Why are we assuming it's related to Boaty McBoatface? This was a meme a good 15 years previous to that. It's like saying "mickey dees" is a reference to a mcdonalds commercial, despite the fact that it took the company 25 years to reference the slang that the public had been using since the 80s at least. Or like a 14 year old hearing The Weekend use a phrase and just assuming he invented it.
Will this still be around tomorrow?
Mojang isn't going to delete this snapshot after April Fools' day is over, right? 'Cause that'd really suck, since this is a pretty unique snapshot...--Lapsem (talk) 00:49, 2 April 2020 (UTC)
covid19 dimension
It seems like this warp has floating islands with biospheres made out of glass. This may just be a coincidence. –Preceding unsigned comment was added by 73.230.138.90 (talk). Please sign your posts with ~~~~ 01:22, 1 April 2020 (UTC)
