An example of why this template/text is important is that in [[1.15 Pre-Release 2]] mobs suffocate in farmland, grass path and soul sand which could’ve/was added to Jave Edition 1.15 list, and in [[1.15 Pre-release 3]] they don’t suffocate in those blocks again, then the list again would need/needs to change on [[Java Edition 1.15]]. This makes you have to edit this 1.15 list back and forth and thus this article isn’t totally reliable as a source of correct information of what 1.15 will bring.

Unlock page

This page should be unlocked considering the first snapshot is out for 1.15. --Marioprotvi (talk) 15:22, 22 August 2019 (UTC)

Combat Changes

While it's confirmed this update won't focus on combat, Jeb said that they'll add the combat changes "...when they're ready...", likely meaning when most players are okay with it. I think we can mention there's a chance that these will be implemented.Travelbytrain (talk) 18:38, 24 August 2019 (UTC)

If it's not confirmed to be in 1.15 they it shouldn't go in the page.  Nixinova T  C  19:30, 24 August 2019 (UTC)
Should they go in the "Mentioned Features" (I forgot what exactly it was called) section we've had in the past? -PancakeIdentity (talk) 21:54, 24 August 2019 (UTC)
Alright sure but be sure to put it in both the bedrock and java page (I don't think we need it in the console page with evidence suggesting PS4's merging soon).Travelbytrain (talk) 13:22, 25 August 2019 (UTC)

Possible Release Date

I was looking at the Minecraft.net article for 19w35a, and I saw that Mojang said they would be working on 1.15 from now until the end of the year. Does this count as a possible release date? Just wondering. 67.197.235.137 23:47, 29 August 2019 (UTC)

It's not anything near an actual date. And the last few updates have stayed in development longer than expected. We'll likely get a quarter at Minecon, but until then, we shouldn't put anything regarding a release date. -PancakeIdentity (talk) 00:03, 30 August 2019 (UTC)

1.15 Guide

Question: Will there be a Guide that will be created like the 1.13, and 1.14 guides or will it be crated once the initial release comes out? Goldenghost1000 (talk) 13:14, 5 September 2019 (UTC)

IT IS NETHER UPDATE

Dude, it is nether update. Proof: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OZqNaEX8208 That's an official video by MOJANG!

At the timestamp 2:12:30 it is revealed to be the nether update. https://youtube.com/watch?v=OZqNaEX8208?t=7950. LuigiSauce (talk) 18:51, 28 September 2019 (UTC)
1.15 will NOT be the Nether Update, if you don't believe me, see this tweet and this reddit post. Kienan (talkcontribs) 18:54, 28 September 2019 (UTC)

Official Name

Official Minecraft account uploaded a video titled "MINECON Live 2019: Bee Holiday Update" on YouTube. Will "Bee Holiday Update" be therefore confirmed as the official name of 1.15? -- Hatsuki kiri ( T C) 16:28, 1 October 2019 (UTC)

Not necessarily, after all an update doesn't always have a name (see 1.3, 1.2, and basically all older ones). The video needed a name, but that doesn't make it the name of the update. FVbico (talk) 16:36, 1 October 2019 (UTC)

Add template/text saying that changes may occur before release

1.15 isn’t released yet and under development so there isn’t a 100% chance that all of the things listed will be accurate when 1.15 releases. Adding a template or adding text in first paragraph should mention this.

People reading this feature list maybe thinks this is a definite list of what will be in game and nothing will be changed/added/removed from the features listed (but in reality they may do because this update is under development).

An example of why this template/text is important is that in 1.15 Pre-Release 2 mobs suffocate in farmland, grass path and soul sand which could’ve/was added to Jave Edition 1.15 list, and in 1.15 Pre-release 3 they don’t suffocate in those blocks again, then the list again would need/needs to change on Java Edition 1.15. This makes you have to edit this 1.15 list back and forth and thus this article isn’t totally reliable as a source of correct information of what 1.15 will bring.

This template/text needs to be standard for all articles about future releases before their release, which includes Java Edition 1.16. 81.92.203.76 22:15, 28 November 2019 (UTC)
