Herobrine player

A while back, i was using SPC and i decided to wear the skin the player named Herobrine was wearing, and it turned out to be, in effect, the classic Herobrine skin. Could someone check this? It might be good to add to the page.

Video Showing Proof Herobrine Twitches

If you've seen the cube land animation by Slamacow, do not read. If you haven,t, please read. Ok, so sometime into the video at the start Steve sees Herobrine. He raises his head and twitches and Steve starts freaking out. This video show proof Herobrine DOES twitch. This is not a video ad.

Saw the video, by the way just because he made a animation of herobrine doing that doesn't mean it's real. But heres the link anyway cause it's a good animation http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7F0qhq7-K08 --Jacob20056 19:54, 18 June 2012 (UTC)

A few things to clear up...

Herobrine. We all know the legends. But I want fact. I would like someone to test the totem myth/'theory'

Also, could this myth, or, for those of you who believe this 'theory of totem summoning', 'theory', could it please at least be mentioned? (on main page, that is) also, about the image, the person who suggested that Minecraft Alpha v 1.0.16_02 is a test version, is it possible, neigh probable thate Herobrine is a 'test version NPC'? Maybe all those not-so-true 'sightings' were in fact bugged games? Or, as someone said 'there is no coding for herobrine ever existing, what if it was hidden, or, to quote some unknown person: 'It was said by some people that Herobrine is a real user ingame. He was said to hack into others singleplayer worlds and cause chaos and mayhem. So, if this is true, then we shouldn't be too scared of him. He is just a hacker in your world.'. Is this true? I know that apparently there is a user called 'herobrine'. I'm not speculating, merely suggesting. Thanks if you read my long huge wall of text. Jackamole 13:38, 2 June 2012 (UTC) Jackamole

that is a mod. --Kizzycocoa 15:47, 2 June 2012 (UTC)

Done. Totem theory disproven. --Blakpik 00:03, 10 June 2012 (UTC) Sorry, at schoole so not logged in. I mean tthe theory not with the 'totem block', but the apparent one you can make with moss stone, netherakk and Gold blocks. Although, it's most likely faked. Best regards! -Jackamole

He's a hacker who teleports behind you and nearly gives you a heart attack and then stabs you with a flamming sword...--Jacob20056 19:47, 18 June 2012 (UTC)

'Under the command'?

The actual line in the patch says "Removed all ghost entities under the command of Lord Herobrine". I do believe the intended meaning of this was that "all ghost entities under the command of Lord Herobrine" were removed, as extension to the running gag of removing Herobrine himself, not that anything was removed "as commanded by Lord Herobrine", as the current article's wording seems to indicate.

--Nyerguds 14:41, 3 June 2012 (UTC)

you know, I never really thought of that. it's really open to interpretation. I'll go replace it. --Kizzycocoa 12:36, 6 June 2012 (UTC)

it wold be cool to have herbroine in the game i think he is in the game but none tried to somon him best legend ever--Creeper death 00:23, 9 June 2012 (UTC)

It is a mod but some people actually build structures to summon him.

RE: 'Under the command'?

Guys, does it matter? It's a simple typo by the person who typed the page. I actually think it's quite funny. Anyway, that's all, folks!

Don't you think it's kinda funny that theres no other "typos" and that they didn't change it when they relized the "mistake"?--Jacob20056 19:45, 18 June 2012 (UTC)

Writing Backwards

Don't most Herobrine Believers also think he Writes/Talks Backwards? If so It should be noted, Probobly in the "Behavior" Section.

--Blakpik 02:03, 9 June 2012 (UTC)

I don't think Herobrine even speaks at all. He's probably not on multiplayer, as players could team up on him, if you see him it is a plugin or mod. Now, on to single player, that is a different story. There are videos out there where he speaks. Although all the ones that convince people don't have him speak at all. Notch would have made him not speak to add more terror and mystery. --Jacob20056 19:42, 18 June 2012 (UTC)

Herobrine is NOT real!

Using the skin command in single player commands, you can change your skit to any skin that is being used by a minecraft player. So me messing around with it decided to try Herobrine. I was freaked out to see that my skin had become that of Herobrine. Whether this "Herobrine" is just a player going by that name or the actual Herobrine, we may never know. I can even make a video and post it on youtube if you want proof.

Herobrine is NOT real!

I have tested this and yes it works bit the only thing it proves is that there is a player somewere in the world with that skin and the username "Herobrine" a player exists, this can already be seen on the "Herobrine" page in the "Trivia" section.

--Blakpik 23:39, 9 June 2012 (UTC)

I agree that Herobrine is a player somewhere else in the world too. For all we know, Notch might be Herobrine! The creater of minecraft could easily grant himself access to the single player of his own game! It's either that or a really pro super hacking genius lol. --Jacob20056 19:32, 18 June 2012 (UTC)

HEROBRlNE

There's also a user named HEROBRlNE (with an L) who has Steve skin but darker, with RED glowing eyes. - Look it up! --KoolKatGold 17:02, 11 June 2012‎ Ohhh, creepy. Sounds scary... Best regards. -Jackamole

facepalm* You guys must be new to minecraft, so I'll tell you this; on skindex there a millions of skins under the name "Herobrine" everyone has either been copied or modified a little. So it's not very unusual to see a Herobrine skin like that.--Jacob20056 19:35, 18 June 2012 (UTC)

Herobrine is Real

he is on the xbox 360 version

Unless you can provide viable proof other than the loading screen "We think 4j Studios has removed Herobrine, but we're not too sure" text, this is speculation.

Herobrine research

While I was researching on YouTube and this wiki on Herobrine I came across a couple of interesting facts on Herobrine: 1. is that I came across the same story on this topic: I made a new world and I started cutting down trees when I saw something in the dense fog I had a slow computer so I had to put the render distance on tiny (now to me this is spammed and used frequently because not everybody who bought Minecraft has a slow PC) I chased the figure hoping to get some hides for armor but it was gone (look on YouTube "the Herobrine theory" to get a better description) I continued on with my world and started mining when I found a 2x2hallway and when I took a boat ride I found perfect pyramids made out of sand. And that is all I can find for the first reason.

2. If you go to the YouTube page I said on the last fact you will see that on the page and on an other wiki page similar to this that Notch has said many times that he has deleted Herobrine on every update.

3. There is also the possibility of the many herobrine mods in the world that people could have used secretly and posted a video saying that they saw herobrine and its legit for glitches and hacks I strongly suggest that u don't hack and let the glitch fly for Notch said "there is no Herobrine" and "I don't have a brother and never had one" the quotes for the rumor that Herobrine is Notch's brother.

4. Now for the multiplayer videos I have seen, there have many explanations I have for it: the troller, the innocent skin, mod, glitch, and misunderstood default skin.

If there are more reasons u can think of please feel free to edit.

Also if you make one of those shrines to Herobrine I have no explanation so far as to what "summons" him other than the reasons above I have no conclusion as to what the shrines do if there is feel free to edit but make it a separate paragraph with your initials, Thank You.

Herobrine Xbox 360 Reference

I think that the Loading screen reference of herobrine on the Xbox 360 (We think that 4J Studios has removed Herobrine from the Xbox 360 version of Minecraft but we're not too sure.") should be added to the page.

Herobrine is real and this is why

Why do you think Notch would make such a effort to conceal the Herobrine myth and then say clues that he added him with a smily face at the end of the message? Also if it was just a myth how do you think it got this big, and, why are there no other myths about a evil random hobo that tries to rudely murder you in game?--Jacob20056 19:53, 18 June 2012 (UTC)

/facepalm - you've been "defending" Herobrine in almost every single topic, now stop. Herobrine doesn't exist: there is no evidence in the code. Don't waste your time. Calinou - talk × contribs » 20:29, 18 June 2012 (UTC)

I don't mind wasting my time, I'm bored and just like posting stuff :P and how did you make your name tag like that?--Jacob20056 20:40, 18 June 2012 (UTC)

You should contribute to the wiki in a more useful way instead; also, to have colors in your signature, you have to use HTML/wikitext. Calinou - talk × contribs » 20:42, 18 June 2012 (UTC)
