Add Semi-Protected Status?

Due to hostile feelings holding over from the mob vote, this page has received quite a bit of vandalism. Should it be upgraded to semi-protected status to prevent further damage? PegasusDust (talk) 03:30, 28 January 2021 (UTC)

Yes, since leaving it unprotected as of now only allows worse vandalism for later on. PJronq (talk) 17:15, 28 January 2021 (UTC)

Please note: I am fairly new to this wiki, so I don't know how to change this page to semi-protected. I have only seen it done once. However, with unregistered users continuing to vandalize and some posting very offensive comments, this seems like a wise course of action. PegasusDust (talk) 00:19, 30 January 2021 (UTC)
You can't semi-protect pages. Only admins can. Blockofnetherite Talk Contributions 20:37, 30 January 2021 (UTC)

Please Stop Vandalizing

As a note to those who have been vandalizing this page, I can understand why you are doing it. I've only heard a little about the circumstances around the mob vote, but if what I heard was true, it is certainly possible that it was influenced unfairly. However, that does not justify vandalism or immaturity. May I suggest voting on the feedback site? There are posts supporting adding the iceologer and the moobloom, providing a more peaceful and effective way to protest if you wish to. I have added the URLs below. https://feedback.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/community/posts/360075461492-Add-the-Iceologer-despite-it-losing-the-vote & https://feedback.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/community/posts/360073551552-Add-the-Mooblooms PegasusDust (talk) 00:34, 28 January 2021 (UTC)

What I think about the glow squid’s mesmerization.

I think the glowsquid’s mesmerizing ability will be in part 2. I think it would be an status effect (or whatever it’s called) that affects the player 3 seconds after looking at one. keeps the player suspended in one spot, floating in place as they watch the glow squid. The effect would last for a few seconds (+3 for each glowsquid on screen) and would redo after 3 more seconds (-0.2 seconds for each glow squid on screen, caps at 0.75 second) --YellowPikminProductions269 (talk) 02:18, 13 June 2021 (UTC)

If it hasn't been announced, then it is speculation and can't be put in the main article. PegasusDust (talk) 04:38, 13 June 2021 (UTC)

Biomes?

I question the accuracy of the following

In Bedrock Edition, glow squid have a herd size of 2–4 and spawn anywhere in water underground (below a solid roof categorized as cave spawn, while squids are surface spawns) anywhere from y = 0 to y = 63. 5% of glow squid spawn as babies.

It is the 'anywhere' that I'm in doubt about. I built a 3 deep pool in a desert biome and roofed it over. No Glow Squid spawned--Onedown3togo (talk) 07:23, 18 June 2021 (UTC)

Spaws are rare. It is not by making a samll 3-deep pool you'll make a Glow Squid farm. I can confirm they spawn in every biome I visited, including some like frozen oceans - MetalManiacMc at your service fellow human! (talk) 08:18, 18 June 2021 (UTC)
