"Unlike in Survival mode, the explosion caused by a creeper in Indev mode can destroy stone and other hard materials but the harder the material, the less effective the explosion."
I find this sentence a bit confusing. Does this just apply to Indev mode then? So, what can/can't be destroyed by a Creeper's explosion in Alpha? JaffaCakeLover 12:16, 9 November 2010 (UTC)

Creepers can explode all substances but obsidian, the effect of the explosion is how far into a solid layer of the substance it will break if it explodes directly next to it. The Creeper's explosion is almost identical to the TNT. ReubenHung 06:18, 9 November 2010 (CST)
If that's the case, the "Unlike in Survival mode" should be removed. I've only ever played Survival mode, but this sounds like Creepers function exactly the same in Indev. I'd make the change, but since I don't know Indev (read as: I'm not 100% certain) I won't. --DaMavster 08:31, 9 November 2010 (CST)
survival =/= alpha--Kizzycocoa 14:35, 9 November 2010 (UTC)
Man.. Just when I thought I had things figured out. According to the Minepedia page on Survival, it could refer to Alpha, Indev, Infdev, etc. But, since only Alpha is supported right now, does it make sense to remove the bit about "Unlike in Survival mode" and just let it stand as "The explosion caused by a creeper can destroy stone... less effective the explosion."? It'd be clearer that way since the term 'Survival' seems to be ambiguous. --DaMavster 14:48, 9 November 2010 (CST)
He has a point. adding information about indev, infdev and survival is confusing to many. I think minepedia should focus on modes that notch intends regular users to play, namely alpha and classic (currently). The others are discontinued test modes anyway, so whats the point? --BlueLegion 15:11, 9 November 2010 (CST)
history recording. basically, they can't destroy stone in survival TEST. so, it needs clarification.--Kizzycocoa 21:15, 9 November 2010 (UTC)
Maybe it would be best to add a "History" section to each article for the info on past things? --Fishrock123 16:14, 9 November 2010 (CST)

To answer this (THE ORIGINAL) question, please refer to this. TNT#Explosion_Resistance Keep in mind that it is "Temporary health" which (from what I read) refills after the explosion. On another note, I find creepers akin to griefers. 99seconds 23:41, 17 November 2010 (UTC)
