The chest is sometimes off a bit. Try digging around the place and it should be there under the sand. – Nixinova Nixinova sig1 Nixinova sig2 01:35, 15 June 2019 (UTC)
Three treasure maps in a row now, dug out 6 blocks in every direction, and on the first two dug all the way down to bedrock. Nothing :( --Realweregamer (talk) 03:41, 20 November 2020 (UTC)
@Realweregamer: I suggest you switch to creative mode and use the "/locate buried treasure" command to check the coordinates. I don't know of you're playing Java or Bedrock, but in Bedrock /locate has always been spot-on for buried treasure (it seems to have problems with other things like ruined portals). If you see a discrepancy between the map and what /locate says, report it on the bug tracker. Amatulic (talk) 11:35, 20 November 2020 (UTC)

(water logged buried treasure)

just dug up one underwater, F3 says is not waterlogged.

4 stacks of diamonds

I get 4 stacks of diamonds in a buried treasure (4 single diamonds), when in the table is a maximum of 3 stacks of diamonds to get.
Seed in what I get 4 stacks of diamonds: 3895961843548414060 (generated in 1.16.3).

@Ksawi999: Thanks for that picture. I changed the table heading to 1-4. It took me a while to figure out that I had to edit the page Module:LootChest to fix that number. Amatulic (talk) 02:13, 21 November 2020 (UTC)
