"Aura Block" would be a better name
Shouldn't we name this "Aura Block" ? It's true we can see it from far but it's not really it's main function. Algent 01:57, 11 August 2012 (UTC)
Beacon redstone
since the glass does not stop the power of the beacon block, we can use pistons and glass to make redstone systems, with hidden pyramids.
Is there a way to force light beam to render
On computers which don't show light beam -- [Posted by 68.231.126.31]

Effects
I suppose the regen and speed effects are just like potion effects, just not temporary. However, what does "Haste" do? There's not a potion that has that effect.
- For sure there is a potion named that, see Potion effects. --80.134.13.237 09:39, 13 August 2012 (UTC)
I would assume from the picture that it makes you mine (or similar things) faster
Light beam
Why isnt a light beam showing up above my beacon block? I have the pyramid exactly right and it's not showing anything above it. Can someone help?
- If the beacon GUI doesn't show any powers, you did something wrong. Otherwise your computer is not good enough to render the beam. In any case, you should give us a screenshot for questions like these.--Johnfaber 10:47, 20 August 2012 (UTC)
DEM PYRAMIDS
I know this is inappropriate on a wiki discussion, but I really need to say it.
This block is AWESOME!!
This is exactly the block I have needed for my hidden pyramid.--85.27.161.163 19:19, 31 August 2012 (UTC)
I think this will be primarily for creative mode.
Aside from the overall cost, the big reason I'm thinking "adventure mode" is because both pyramid and "fees" seem to make no distinction between iron, gold, diamond, and emerald. That just doesn't make sense in anything but creative or adventure modes, the value range is just too wide. Even for advanced play in survival, there'd have to be some benefit to using something besides iron. A big pyramid of diamond or emerald blocks would represent the total contents of an ungodly amount of territory -- for diamond, I get 492 chunks, or a square around 400m on a side.)
