Removed Stub

I don't think it's a stub page as it says most everything I can think of about the armor. I think the article is fairly complete, so I removed the flag. –Preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.56.74.255 (Talk) 03:40, 29 April 2012. Please sign your posts with ~~~~

Naming

If the game refers to it as "Chain Armor" shouldn't we name the article that? Jax-Kenobi 13:31, 2 March 2011 (UTC)

Already under normal armor

This is already mentioned under the normal armor page. Can someone delete or redirect this page? I will add the chainmail picture to the main armor page though. --Zkyo 13:25, 30 March 2011 (UTC)

This page is necessary, since there is barely any of the information on this page on the armour page. It should stay.--SUPACRAAZZEE 19:58, 14 May 2011 (UTC)

Incorrect Information

[[Reblotic]] added incorrect information. Chainmail armour can catch on fire, shown here:

Main Discussion

Chainmail can be obtained by inventory editors. -Mozziedoo –The preceding undated comment was added on 06:34, 28 January 2012. Please sign your posts with ~~~~

They should make it so that Chain Armor can be found in Stronghold Chests. --96.227.234.56 12:12, 10 May 2012 (UTC)

Irrelevant, please remove. –Preceding unsigned comment was added by 67.170.53.75 (Talk) 04:57, 14 June 2012. Please sign your posts with ~~~~

Chain armor can be obtained in survival with the Villager Trading system.

Chain armor should be resistant to arrows.... But increased damage to the wearer from sword hits. Also it should occur more often in the trading system.

Move to Armour

Why don't we just move this page to Armour? Because this is just armour... --Dyon 21:29, 17 May 2012 (UTC)

I agree swords are all merged into a single one as well why not armour? –Preceding unsigned comment was added by Darkshadows9776 (Talk|Contribs) 22:50, 13 June 2012. Please sign your posts with ~~~~
Agreed. The main reasons to have a separate article are that it's uncraftable, unobtainable in Survival, and while available in Creative, it cannot be equipped there; in the recent 1.3 snapshots, the latter two are no longer true. Armor already covers its properties, so there are just a few history and trivia items that need to be copied. -- Orthotope 06:40, 14 June 2012 (UTC)
thats a horrible idea is is easier to learn about all the armour sepretly if they are in diffrent articles
Dude, that's just impractical. It's much easier to keep similar topics on one organized page instead of twenty or so disorganized pages along with four disimbugation pages linking to each other. Besides, the Armor page sums everything up just fine. If you want something changed, the least you can do is make an account. SilverPikmin 02:00, 14 August 2012 (UTC)
Agreed. All other armor is on the same page.

This a good idea

Proposition for Deletion

Support I agree, this should be condensed into the main Armor page. Also, why the hell is this under planned features in the blocks category? Just because it's now becoming obtainable doesn't mean it hasn't been in the game for ages.

--Ancientpower 17:40, 25 May 2012 (UTC)

Remove it from the Creative only, in 12w21a, it is obtainable through trading, nut it still is in Creative only section. –Preceding unsigned comment was added by 67.170.53.75 (Talk) 04:59, 14 June 2012. Please sign your posts with ~~~~

Support This page was made because you could only hack it. Then they made it Creative only. "No biggie! It's still unique!" Now there's 2 ways to get it legit in Survival: Trading and killing armored Zombies. I recommend we remove this. Pengmunk 20:08, 11 September 2012 (UTC)

Support There is only a few trivia that needs to be added to the Armor page, merging would be inefficent. -- Anoymous712 08:00, 14 January 2013 (UTC)

I've merged what unique content there was and turned this article into a redirect. I don't think it's necessary to delete this page entirely. -- Orthotope 09:55, 14 January 2013 (UTC)

Chainmail isn't bigger

"The chain chestplate has slightly longer sleeves than all other chestplates." - I've tested this in v1.2.5 by holding an iron chestplate in front of a chain chestplate and I didn't see any differences in the outline. 94.214.138.22 13:53, 11 June 2012 (UTC)

When you wear it, it is longer. --Dyon 23:40, 13 June 2012 (UTC) ^^

Monsters spawning with Chain Armor in Snapshot 12w32a

After spawning over stacks of zombie eggs for an experiment, I came across a zombie wearing a chain armor helmet on its head. Although my last photo was removed (was completely fine by me), I decided to just upload this photo shown here into the gallery. I'm surprised that no one did take a screenshot of a mob with a helmet that spawn normally without any mods or editing programs.

Chainmail in dungeon chest?

I was mining today and found a dungeon chest with chainmail. I reread the post several times and found no mention of that. --76.17.163.27 01:25, 21 September 2012 (UTC)
