Merge with 1.6

Updated the page for 1.12
Renamed my .minecraft folder to get it (temporarily) out of the way, then started the game and compared the results with the entries on the page. I removed all the references to the old launcher and replaced those for the current one. Also took the liberty of removing any references to mods because according to the style guide we should be focusing on the latest vanilla version of the game.
There are a few files of which I'm not fully certain yet, I'll get to those later this week. But for now this page is decently up to date, so I also updated the header accordingly to reflect on this. - ShelLuser (talk) 12:54, 22 August 2017 (UTC)
Location under
.minecraft is located under %AppData%\Roaming on Windows. Someone please update the page to reflect this.

- The
%APPDATA%environment variable resolves to C:/Users/Username/AppData/Roaming automatically - you don't need to add Roaming separately. As such the table on the page is already accurate. --Pokechu22 (talk) 19:22, 16 September 2017 (UTC)
how to rediscover your backed up mcpe worlds via google drive
About a year ago i had this beautiful map on my lenovo andriod tablet named boardwalk at oakshire cliffs and it was huge, i changed playing devices multiple times around this time and all of a sudden my lenovo tablet broke, thank goodness that right before the accident of my tablet i did a back up of my world to google drive, i now own an iphone XS max and just started playing minecraft like on the regular.. the only thing about that is that when i backed up my world to my google drive i used and app thru the google play store but now the app isnt avaliabe thru the google play.... ive been diggig thru my google drive for the compressed backup file via my computer and no luck.. has anyone had any luck finding their world backup on google drive...
