Steak[a] is a food item obtained from cows or from cooking raw beef.

Obtaining[edit]

Mob loot[edit]

Cows[edit]

When a cow is killed, it drops raw beef. The Looting enchantment increases the maximum number of steak drops by 1 per level. If a cow or mooshroom dies while on fire, it drops steak instead.

Cooking[edit]

Raw beef can be cooked in a furnace, smoker, or campfire. Each steak removed from a furnace output slot gives 0.35 experience (22.4 experience per stack).
