A spore blossom is a decorative block.

Obtaining[]

Spore blossoms can be found only in the Lush Caves biome. Unlike the other Lush blocks included in Part I of Caves & Cliffs, there is no way to obtain spore blossoms outside their biome, which does not generate in normal worlds. As a result, they are obtainable only in Creative or through the Experimental toggle.‌[Bedrock Edition only]

In Java Edition, Lush Caves can generate using the buffet or custom world type.

In Bedrock Edition, Lush Caves generate randomly when enabling experiments toggle in development versions.

Breaking[]

Spore blossoms can be broken instantly with any item or by hand. Harvesting a spore blossom with shears consumes the durability of the shears for no additional benefit.

Behavior[]

Spore blossoms can be placed only on the underside of any block except leaves. They emit green particles downward, which spread after a while and gather around the spore blossom in a small radius, flying through the air.
