to find the void vertex farther would require two steps, one take the cubic chunks mod and extend the height limit to either above 2^31 or find a way to change the height scale, and two, decompile the forge and set the border at 300 blocks before the 32 bit mark.
The farther lands spawn in the skylands, just boot up any version of minecraft and set the height scale to like 1043285974298398543759843275 and the skylands appear but stretched out with little or no change, just like the edge fartherlands, And if u have a modern version with the farlands mod you can set the coordinate scale to something high and tele out far enough you will find them. that is what I used to find a rough estimate of where the original fartherlands distance is.
Don't you think 2^32 is far enough for the Farther Lands to start? But since Beta 1.7.3 the Farther Lands seem to be removed, so there is pretty no hope for us to find it in a modern version. Coding the Cubic Chunks for Beta 1.7.2 will take a good amount of time.
i got a quick question? have you seen that video of Antvenom where he showed off a modded client where he pushed the world border out to 2147483647? Because I was thinking of decompiling a forge client with the cubic chunks mod and push that world limit out as well. If your good at coding maybe you could help me, you seem pretty smart and i dont know java for shit. If this works we could find the fartherlands in the void farlands as well.
I know you are just wanting to make your findings at least being known, because even myself is also used to be wanting some of my original works, having my name in the credits. But this is Minecraft Wiki, you can surf around and see, there isn't a place to credit people for finding out stuff. The tutorials, the trivias,... almost all has no credits. However, your contributions will be included in the History section of each page you edit, and those will appear in your user page as well (it's right above!). Don't worry, you are not forgotten.
Also, before reverting something, please check out the diff of the most recent edit(s), to see how the informations have changed. You can see your comment of hybrid mix sitting nicely in your Edge Farther Lands picture's description.
Thank you for your response, the farlands are complicated and thats why they are intriguing, a few extra names isnt that bad, I have been intrigued by them forever (since early 2017) and have looked deeply into them, Since these parts have distinct differences, i feel that there should be names decided, for the names i was thinking of the corner-edge fartherlands, the edge fartherlands and the corner fartherlands.. (no joke, i once spent 3 weeks analyzing and doing calculations because of a couple lines in the ground that seem to split the corner farlands into even smaller different sections of the farlands. Depending on what these lines mean There could potentially be hundreds of corner farlands variants. Talk about complicated!) I get that your just trying to keep the info fresh on the wiki but as the person that discovered these, I feel that i should be able to name my findings and have some recognition instead of being wiped off the wiki. (like the picture i put up, thanks for leaving one as well)
Hi, I know what you are feeling when your photos were removed, but unfortunately, this wiki (and many others) do not have to use someone's particular pieces of information in pages, unless they are the only one who is reliable. That means anything can change as long as they have a right purpose. In this case, I appreciate your first photo of the Farther Lands, but I have to replace with another one to add captions. You can see my 2 picture pairs: In each pair, the upper shows the debug screen, the lower is the above without the HUD and added captions for everyone to recognize the parts. However, I will try finding somewhere else to add your picture in, so don't too worry. Your last picture - the Edge Far Lands meet the Edge Farther Lands - is still kept there, I only changed its desciption. So next time, please expect your edits to be changed, that will help a lot.
And for the naming, I don't think we should split the Farther Lands to edge-edge, corner-edge parts. They are pretty complicated for now, splitting them into more parts will confuse people even more and is not really necessary. You can discuss this here.
Currently I am not so free to mod Minecraft. I have many other things to do because like you, I have a life. We can try at a later time.
