The sculk sensor is a block that can detect vibrations and emit a redstone signal.
Obtaining
Sculk sensors can currently be obtained only from the creative inventory or commands.
Breaking
Sculk sensors can be mined with any tool, but hoes are the quickest.

- ↑ Times are for unenchanted tools as wielded by players with no status effects, measured in seconds. For more information, see Breaking § Speed.
Usage
Light
An inactive sculk sensor has an inconspicuous light level of 1. However, when active it emits a brighter yellowish light that illuminates its surroundings.
Vibration detection
The sculk sensor vibration particle.
Sculk sensors can detect vibrations in an 8 block radius around it. A vibration is anything that causes physical motion, although there are some motions that are undetectable to sensors by sneaking; these sneak-friendly vibrations include walking, falling to the ground or throwing/shooting projectiles.
Wool has a special interaction with sculk sensors. If a wool block is between a sensor and a vibration source, then that sensor is not able to detect the vibration. In addition, sensors are not able to detect walking on wool or throwing wool on the ground. [Java Edition only]
When a vibration is detected, a signal is sent from the source location to the sensor at a speed of one block per game tick (20 blocks per second). Other vibrations cannot be detected by a sensor when a signal is already travelling to it. When the signal has arrived, the sensor is activated for 40 game ticks (2 seconds). While activated, the sensor cannot detect other vibrations.
Sculk sensors have a cooldown period of 1 tick after being placed or after deactivating. During this short cooldown period, it cannot detect vibrations. This is to prevent it from activating itself when a contraption it is powering is being unpowered.
Sculk sensors don't listen to vibrations that are directly created by other sculk sources.
A sculk sensor is silent if waterlogged, meaning that it can still detect vibration but does not make sounds while doing so.
Redstone emission
Sculk sensors emit a redstone signal when they are activated. The strength of the redstone signal is inversely proportional to the distance the vibration signal traveled – the closer the vibration is to the sculk sensor, the stronger the redstone signal is, so it reaches the maximum redstone signal strength when the vibration is directly on top of the sensor.
Vibration frequencies
Sculk sensors have a unique interaction with comparators. Each vibration in the game falls under a certain frequency value, and this value can be measured with a comparator as redstone output. With the right contraption, this allows the player to detect when a certain action has occurred nearby.

A powder snow bucket is a bucket with powder snow inside.
Obtaining
A powder snow bucket can be obtained by using an empty bucket on a powder snow block or powder snow cauldron.
Usage
Pressing use while holding a powder snow bucket places a powder snow block. Java, powder snow may also be placed inside empty cauldrons, creating powder snow cauldrons.
Dispensers can also create and place powder snow buckets. However, they cannot do so with cauldrons. You can also use it to cushion falls in the nether by placing it below you when falling.

Netherite ingots are items obtained from crafting netherite scraps and gold ingots together, as well as loot from bastion remnant loot chests. Unlike other items, they are immune to fire and lava damage. They are primarily used to upgrade diamond gear and craft lodestones.
Obtaining
Netherite ingots are obtained by crafting four netherite scraps and four gold ingots. It is a shapeless recipe, therefore the placement of the netherite scraps and gold ingots does not matter when crafting it.

Beacons
A netherite ingot could be used to select powers from a beacon instead of using an emerald, gold ingot, iron ingot, or a diamond. The player must select one of the available powers, and then insert an ingot in the item slot. The gold option is more efficient than the netherite option because it consumes 3 fewer gold and no netherite scrap.

Raw chicken is a food item that can be eaten by the player. It can be cooked in a furnace, smoker, or a campfire to make cooked chicken.
Obtaining
Mob loot
Upon death, an adult chicken drops 1 raw chicken. The maximum is increased by 1 per level of Looting, for a maximum of 1-4 with Looting III. Chickens that die while on fire drop cooked chicken instead.
Cat gifts
Cat#Gifts
Tamed cats have a 70% chance to give the player a gift as they wake up from a bed, and the gift has a 16.13% chance to be raw chicken.

Chains are metallic decoration blocks.
Obtaining
Breaking
Chains can be mined using any pickaxe. If mined without a pickaxe, it drops nothing.

Natural generation
Chains generate in bastion remnants and sometimes in ruined portals that generate in the Nether. They always generate above magma cube spawners, also found in bastions.
Chains can also generate in mineshafts. They generate on the sides of a wooden bridge (a mid-air corridor) when the distance between the bridge and the highest solid block below it is higher than the distance to the lowest solid block above it. Chains here generate vertically in a pillar between the bridge and the ceiling. The lowest block of the pillar, connecting the chain to the bridge, is always an oak fence.

Crafting
{{Crafting

Usage
Chains can be used to suspend bells, hanging signs, or both types of lanterns (normal lanterns and soul lanterns), as the chain texture connects to the chain of the lantern seamlessly as if it were part of it, and it connects the hanging sign chains together. Chains do not require a supporting block to be placed whether it is on the top, next to it or at the bottom. It can exist completely free-standing in mid air and it can be rotated. Chains connect horizontally or vertically, but not across different orientations (so a chain with N orientation does not connect to a chain with E orientation in the adjacent block).
Horizontal chains one block above a surface may be walked over. Horizontal chains two blocks above a surface prevent players from traveling past them. Vertical chains block travel if targeted directly, but may be skirted.
Precision is required, but chains can be walked on, allowing for inconspicuous, although somewhat costly, bridges.
Chains can be pushed by pistons without being broken.

* A vertical chain, being a solid, but not a full block, allows for many sizes of mobs and players to pass alongside each piece horizontally.
* Despite its name, it cannot be crafted into chainmail armor.
* Chains do not stick together when moved by pistons, regardless of orientation.

Multiple Sculk sensors with other sculk type of blocks on Minecraft Live.
Issues
Issues relating to "Sculk Sensor" are maintained on the bug tracker. Report issues there.
Trivia
Recreated possible model of Calibrated Sculk Sensor.
Second variant recreate possible model of Calibrated Sculk Sensor.
- "Sculk" is derived from "skulk," meaning "keep out of sight, typically with a sinister or cowardly motive".[8]
There are two unused textures, "calibrated_sculk_sensor_top.png" and "calibrated_sculk_sensor_side.png", added in 20w49a. These are derivatives of the block of amethyst texture, potentially implying a planned connection; these could however be placeholder textures.- The textures in Bedrock Edition are still the old ones from development.
