The features on this page are exclusive to Experimental Gameplay in Bedrock Edition.
These features may be properly added in a future update, but currently require enabling one or more settings in the "Vanilla Experiments" section of the Game Settings menu.
This article describes a feature planned for Java Edition.
It has not appeared in any development versions yet, but is planned to be included in Java Edition 1.19.
Sculk is a decorative block found in the creative inventory, and created by the sculk catalyst.
Obtaining
Breaking
Sculk blocks can be mined with any tool, but hoes are the quickest. It drops 1 experience [more information needed]if mined without silk touch.

Sculk Catalyst
Sculk blocks generate when a sculk catalyst is in range of where a mob dies, replacing any grass blocks, dirt, coarse dirt, stone, deepslate, andesite, diorite and granite in the area.
Usage
Sculk blocks are currently used as decorative blocks, but are also a good source of extra xp from mob kills, being usable in mob farms.
