A raid is a group of illagers that spawn in villages when a player with the Bad Omen status effect enters.
Spawning
Raids spawn near villages when a player with the Bad Omen status effect enters. Upon entering, the effect will immediately go away and a bossbar with the name "Raid" will appear. The bar will go down for every mob killed. When there are less than three mobs left, it will show how many there are.

Trivia
- If a player kills the patrol leader while in a village, they will not get the status effect and a raid will start briefly.
- During a raid, villagers will not trade; instead, they will emit water particles, as if sweating.
- If the village being attacked by a Raid no longer registers as a village (in which case all the Villagers were killed or all the doors were broken by Vindicators or Zombies), the Raid ends and all mobs that were a part of it will leave, wander, or even despawn.
