For the regular Purpur Block, see Purpur Block.

Purpur Pillars are the one main material that End Cities and End Ships are constructed from. These blocks are coloured "Ender Purple", and have Slab, and Stairs. As with other stone blocks, a gold pickaxe is the quickest tool to break purpur blocks (0.2 seconds with a gold pickaxe and 0.3 seconds with a diamond pickaxe).

Crafting

Purpur Pillars can be crafted from two Purpur Slabs which are created by any Purpur Blocks and can be found in The End.
