Alpha 0.16.0, the first release of The Boss Update, is an upcoming update to Minecraft: Pocket Edition with no set release date.

More information regarding the update will be revealed around 1:30-2:30 PM PST on September 24, the first day of MineCon 2016, during the "Talking Pocket Edition/Windows 10 with the Developers" event on the expo stage.

• Performance improvements.
• Skin picker no longer shows the silhouette of the skins behind it when choosing a custom skin.
• Tweaked mouse sensitivity for vertical vs. horizontal motion in UI in Rift (Win 10 Rift only).
• Increased maximum view distance for capable GPUs (Win10 and EDU only).
• Tweaked the clock texture so it has all the correct pixels
