Alpha 0.12.1 is an upcoming update to Minecraft Pocket Edition with a possible release date in August 2015. The release was initially intended to coincide with the release of the Windows 10 version on July 29, 2015 but encountered obstacles in its development, forcing it to be delayed.[1]
The Windows 10 Edition was released early as 0.12.0.[2] It included some Windows 10 exclusive features such as a new title screen, but did not include enchanting or the other features added and fixed in the development builds.
