Minecraft: PS Vita Edition is the upcoming PlayStation Vita version of Minecraft being developed by 4J Studios for Mojang[1]. First picture of the PS Vita version shown by 4JStudios Here!!

Jeb also informs us that it is based on the PS3 version.[3]

Because of this, saves are transferrable between the Playstation 3 and Vita versions of Minecraft, the game is also 'cross-buy'(As Sony calls it.) which means that it doesn’t matter if you buy for PS3 or Vita first, you own the game for both platforms for free.[4]


Minecraft: PlayStation 3 Edition and PlayStation 4 Edition was announced at Sony's exhibit at Gamescom 2013.[5] and Notch later stated that it would be coming to those consoles, as well as the PS Vita.[6]
