A painted clay pot is the fired form of a clay pot. It is made by lighting a fire source underneath an unfired clay pot and waiting 10 seconds. After transforming into a painted clay pot, the surface will change colors from a clay color to a brick color. The painted clay pot can hold up to 8 ceramic shards on its outer surface. Once fired, the ceramic shards cannot be changed. It is not yet known if the pots have a purpose or are purely decorational.
