Nether Update

The Nether Update is an upcoming major update themed around revamping the Nether. This update was announced at MINECON Live 2019.

Bees

Bea's are mobs that only attack when attacked. They collect pollen from flowers and grow crops. They return to their hive and raise the honey level. Bees become hostile if their nest is broken. When they attack. They do 1 damage and inflict posoin. Than, they die in 30 seconds. They also loose Thur stinger.

Notable features

• New blocks: blue fire, nether fungi, nether grass, target block, among other unnamed blocks.
• New mobs: piglins and piglin beasts
• New biomes: soulsand valley, netherwart forest red, and netherwart forest blue.
• New structures: bastions.

Trivia

• Similarly to the announcement of the Update Aquatic, this update was announced during the development of Java Edition 1.15, and before the features of 1.15 were even added to Bedrock Edition.
