  1. Where Are We Now was added in Beta 1.9.2pre2 but was left unused due to a processing problem. In 1.4.4, the song was renamed to Wait, which fixed the processing problem by removing the spaces, and then released.
  2. "11" is not "Eleven" in Minecraft - Volume Beta.

Trivia

  • As of November 15, 2013, 29 tracks have been added to Minecraft.
  • When released in 1.4.4, Where Are We Now was renamed to Wait. The name of the disc was not changed in the Xbox 360 Edition when it was released on the console, however.
  • In-game music is cued by the time of day, with a random track being played at sunrise, sunset, noon and midnight.
  • Chirp uses the same accompaniment samples as "The Orb of Dreamers" from the LittleBigPlanet series. The samples come from the Optigan disc "Bossa Nova Style".[1] C418 stated that it was coincidental.[2]
  • Sweden is a Passacaglia, with a changing melody over a repeated bass line.
  • 11 is the only type of music that isn't a tune.
  • In Console Edition, the music disc "Cat" includes a second tune at the end, a remix entitled "Dog", from Minecraft - Volume Alpha.
  • On April Fools Day 2014 Mojang played a bunch of villager themed pranks on the players, including temporarily replacing the track "Hal 1/Subwoofer Lullaby" with a version that had a villager singing along, as well as temporarily replacing all the menu songs with the villagers singing the Game Of Thrones theme song.
  • the songs 'dry hands' and 'wet hands' have some melodic resemblance. just listen!
