Trivia
- Chirp uses the same accompaniment samples as "The Orb of Dreamers" from the LittleBigPlanet series. The samples come from the Optigan disc "Bossa Nova Style".[1] C418 stated that it was coincidental.[2]
- "Calm 3", or "Sweden", is a Passacaglia, with a changing melody over a repeated bass line.
- On April Fools' Day 2014, Mojang played a bunch of villager themed pranks on the players, including temporarily replacing the track "Hal 1", or "Subwoofer Lullaby", with a version that had a villager singing along, as well as temporarily replacing all the menu songs with the villagers singing the Game Of Thrones theme song. This was reverted on April 2, 2014.
- 5 songs in C418's album "148" (Droopy Remembers, Vierton, Aria Economy, Biome Party, and Beta) are house remixes of some songs in "Life Changing Moments Seem Minor In Pictures", "Minecraft: Volume Alpha" and "Minecraft: Volume Beta" (Droopy likes ricochet + Droopy likes your face, Dreiton, Aria Math, Biome Fest, and Sweden).
- Hal 3 (Haggstrom) is in septuple time (precisely 7/4 time).
- The song "Biome Fest" if listened to carefully appears to be in the style of a Gregorian chant.
- The word "Shuniji" (しゅにじ, 主虹) means "primary rainbow" in Japanese.
- Axolotls are small Mexican salamanders that are critically endangered.
- According to C418, the track "Mice on Venus" (game filename is piano3) was originally only a short piano solo, but was then changed later in Minecraft's development and an addendum was added, which made the track that we have currently.[3]
- On the Legacy Console Editions, the music that plays in survival mode never plays in creative, and vice versa. If a world is created in survival and then later switched over to creative, creative music will start playing and the old survival music will go away, but this may take a very long time before the music changes.
