Mossy cobblestone[name 1], also known as moss stone[name 2], is a block of cobblestone with moss growing in its cracks.
Obtaining
Mossy cobblestone can be mined using any pickaxe. If mined without a pickaxe, the mining will be slower and it will drop nothing.

Natural generation
Mossy cobblestone can be naturally found in dungeons, jungle temples, in the form of scattered moss stone boulders in the giant tree taiga biome, in zombie villages, [Bedrock and Legacy Console editions only] in underwater ruins, and also in normal plains villages.[upcoming: Lua error in Module:Version_link at line 112: attempt to concatenate local 'text' (a nil value).]
Usage
Mossy cobblestone is used only for decoration and for crafting mossy cobblestone walls.

Trivia
- A picture of villages was released by Notch before Beta 1.8 was released.[2] In the early screenshots, villages were partly made of mossy cobblestone.
