Template:Mod
This mod by Jamioflan allows you to fly planes in Minecraft, allowing players to create 7 different planes and fly them around. This mod is for both SSP, and SMP.
Included in this mod are:
Biplane: carries one person, five cargo slots, Not Dangerous.
Two-Seater Biplane: carries two people or one person and a wolf, five cargo slots, Not Dangerous.
Fokker (WW1 Fighter): carries one person, five bullet slots, Dangerous.
Sopwith Camel (WW1 Fighter): carries one person, five bullet slots, Dangerous.
Spitfire (WW2 Fighter): carries one person, five bullet slots, two bomb slots, Very Dangerous!
P-51 Mustang (WW2 Fighter): carries one person, five bullet slots, two bomb slots, Very Dangerous!
BF-109 (WW2 Fighter): carries one person, five bullet slots, two bomb slots, Very Dangerous!

Installation
Client
- 1. Download & Install Risugami's ModLoader
- 2. Download & Install SDK's ModLoaderMp
- 3. Download & Install GaryCXJk's Turbo Model Thingy
- 4. (Optional)Download & Install Risugami's AudioMod
- 5. Download Planes v16
- 6. Add the contents of the "jar files" folder to the minecraft.jar
- 7. Add the contents of the "resource files" to the resources folder
- 8. Drag planes.txt and plane.properties into the .minecraft folder
- 9. Delete META-INF folder, if you didn't already
- 10. Play!
Server
- 1. Download & Install SDK's ModLoaderMp Server
- 2. Download Planes Server v16
- 3. Add the files to minecraft_server.jar
- 4. Add the planes.txt and plane.properties to the minecraft server folder
- 5. Start your server
Controls
for both start with a clear .minecraft with updating minecraft
Default controls for planes are:
- W - speed up propeller
- S - slow down propeller
- A - Turn left
- D - Turn right
- Space - Look up
- Left Shift - Look down
- E - Get out
- R - Inventory
- Left Control - Shoot
- C - Drop Bomb
These can be changed by editing the included planes.properties file.
For the Anti-Aircraft guns, simply right click to get on and left click with an Anit-Aircraft shell in your inventory to fire
Crafting
The plane components are crafted in the 3x3 grid, but needs final assembly in the special 5x3 grid included in the mod.
To craft a plane, one needs to make the following parts: A propeller, an engine, some wings, a tail, a cockpit, and some wheels. Some planes require more than this, like the Spitfire requiring a bomb bay.
First of all, you are going to need your 5x3 Plane crafting grid to make the planes. File:Craftingbenchplanes.png

- Height limit now 115 blocks, but your propeller will start to smoke at 110 blocks and cut out if you stay too high too long
