IndustrialCraft Food

IndustrialCraft introduces a new way to carry food. Canning food allows it to be stacked, which means with a minimum of 2 inventory spaces (one for full cans and one for empty cans) the player can possess 64 hearts worth of healing, since each tin can heals 1 heart. As consuming canned food is a multi-step process, it may not be suitable for combat.

Tin Can

Tin Cans can be put into the Canning Machine to create Canned Food out of Raw Porkchop, Cooked Porkchop, Bread, Cookies, Raw Fish, Cooked Fish, Apples, Golden Apples, or Mushroom Soup (but not Cake).

  • Crafting:

Materials:Tin
Produces: 8× Tin Cans Template:Grid2/Crafting Table

  • Recipes:

Tin Cans can be used to craft Canned Food.

Canned Food is stackable and can be opened by right-clicking to make food available.
