Mob Vote

Minecraft Mob Vote logo

The Mob Vote was an annual event and community poll that allowed people to vote for a new mob to be added to the game in a future update. Each mob received its own video, introducing its behavior, biome(s), features, and impact on gameplay.

The Minecraft Mob Vote has been officially canceled as of September 9, 2024, by Mojang Studios. The mob vote was discontinued in 2024. On Social Media, Minecraft announced that they are "retiring the mob vote". In a Minecraft article on the Official Minecraft Website; 'The Future of Minecraft’s Development, Section 3; "A new format for Minecraft Live", or Paragraph 7, Ryan Cooper wrote "We’re changing the format for Minecraft Live, and retiring the mob vote, to bring you something new.".
