Missing launcher versions

The following is a list of versions that are and not included in the Minecraft launcher (as of Sunday, July 8, 2018). If a version is labelled as edited, it means that the META-INF files in the jar are dated differently from the release date. This is because when these versions were added (in 2013), the META-INF had to be renewed. Other then that, nothing else is changed in the versions, with the exceptions of the Pre-Classic and Classic versions looking and feeling completely different from their original counterparts. (Versions labelled as edited are currently in the Minecraft launcher. If a version is not labelled as edited, it is not in the Minecraft launcher).

From Alpha:

Take the phrase "launcher version is edited" with a grain of salt for this section. The sources that I got my information from say that the Alpha versions that are in the launcher may or may not be the originals. My sources, on their spreadsheet of versions say this, "checksum matches launcher version". That could mean that we either got it from the launcher (or from somewhere that got it from launcher), or that we have the original and the launcher has the original version.

1.1 and Onwards:

After a version is released, its development versions are removed from the launcher, unless you have them permanently download to your computer.
