Polsh version

Hey, I'd like to translate the wiki to polish, but I don't really know how to start a project, can anyone guide me? Would appreciate a lot. MaxKing 10:31, 20 March 2011 (UTC)

We already have a polish wiki. –ultradude25 (T|C) at 10:51, 20 March 2011 (UTC)
Oh, I'm sorry, it's not mentioned on Minecraft Wiki:Projects#Current projects. Thank you. MaxKing 15:18, 5 April 2011 (UTC)
Well of course it isn't. If we have a subdomain, then it's not a current project is it? :P –ultradude25 (T|C) at 23:51, 5 April 2011 (UTC)

Greek, Bulgarian

I can speak Greek and Bulgarian. If you would like I could do some translating. The thing is that I can not guarantee I will do it all or that it will be done fast. Sakishrist 14:28, 24 March 2011 (UTC)

You might want to wait to see if there is more interest in having either of those languages. The purpose of these projects is to create full wiki's that will need a committed community to maintain. -- Wynthyst User Wynthyst sig icon talk 15:46, 24 March 2011 (UTC)
OK, I'll wait. Sakishrist 16:04, 24 March 2011 (UTC)

Wiki in Serbian

Hello, I just signed up to ask if it's possible for me to start a new project in Serbian (which, being a Serbo-Croatian language, is well understood in at least four countries in the Western Balkans: Montenegro, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Croatia, and Serbia). My intention is to translate (and adjust accordingly) all of the core articles, as well as to maintain them in the future. I have some experience in wikis, good knowledge of English and Serbian languages, software programming background, and of course ample interest in Minecraft. I cannot guarantee a large community and whatnot, but I'm hoping that, in terms of Minecraft popularity, the Western Balkans is not an exception from the rest of the Europe/World. Besides, a dedicated multilingual wiki should have a positive effect on Minecraft's widespread cultural influence, especially in the non-English-speaking countries. --Orionsyndrome 10:57, 7 June 2011 (UTC)

You are free to create the project if you wish. Just so you know the subdomain will not be created until it has been demonstrated that there is enough commitment to continue and maintain it ongoing. This thread on the forum outlines the basics. http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/217104-want-to-see-the-wiki-in-your-language/ -- Wynthyst User Wynthyst sig icon talk 11:00, 7 June 2011 (UTC)
Thank you for such quick response. I will start immediately, and do my best at getting some help soon. Now if I only had a way to create the project page itself. I tried searching for this (non-existing) page, or entering its URL directly, but creating a new page from scratch seems to be disabled. Now when I think of it, should I add the link to the Projects page first, and then click (and edit) it? Please advise. --Orionsyndrome 11:47, 7 June 2011 (UTC)
You have to be registered for at least 3 days, and have 10 other edits before you can create a page. Minecraft Wiki:Projects/Serbian translation I created it for you. -- Wynthyst User Wynthyst sig icon talk 12:29, 7 June 2011 (UTC)
I see. Thanks! --Orionsyndrome 12:42, 7 June 2011 (UTC)

Glitch studying?

I have researched some glitches and made a machine that makes glitches at a press of the button. I'm sure a "Glitch studying" section could help. My proof of glitching? This. Could I create such a project? --Tehninjah (Tehninjah99) 16:53, 31 July 2011 (UTC)

Lithuanian translation

Hello there I am hardcore minecraft fan! I am from Lithuania. I'd like to translate wiki to Lithuanian language because there is alot of lithuanian players around all the minecraft. So my goal for now is to translate most important information about minecraft into lithuanian then some further stuff too! RaMa360 17:51, 23 August 2011 (UTC)

Confusion

Is it just me, or is the entire wiki becoming more and more confusing? It seems with every update that comes, the site gets a little more confusing. There are more and more people coming to report things as the game grows and progresses, there needs to be a better system to keep people from posting the same thing more than one and creating useless pages. I honestly feel that someone should take the time to start from scratch and create a better system for getting info out to the users. The wiki is great, but cluttered and confusing. New block, mob and item ideas

Sin Stone

Comes in white or black both cannot be crafted, each having different properties 1. White sin stone is easy to mine (any type of pickaxe) while black sin stone is unmineable (can break but no savable pieces because it's fragile. 2. White sin stone is more common than black sin stone above ground, however the only sin stone found in the nether is black. 3. White sin stone is 100% blast-proof (like bedrock!) and black isn't (because it's fragile!). 4. All white sin stone in your inventory turns black if you go to the nether. 5. The only way to get black sin stone is to either light it on fire, use redstone, or go to the nether. 6. If white sin stone touches black sin stone, it turns black. 7. Nether brick can be made from black sin stone if you use one black sin stone and four soul sands in an "x" pattern, "+" gets you netherrack.

Blue Copper

Has an nugget and block form, cannot be mined and can only be crafted from either four lapis lazuli and four redstone or one lapis lazuli block and four redstone (these make one blue copper) and five blue coppers to make a block. It is like block of iron but green and it has no special properties, except it can be widely substituted in crafting for mostly anything else.

While these are both interesting ideas, this is NOT a suggestion board for the game. I would suggest you move this to the forum. -- Wynthyst User Wynthyst sig icon talk 14:02, 11 November 2011 (UTC)

Tagalog wiki proposal...

At least, if it's not already being done. ajmax8 22:13, 16 November 2011 (UTC)
