- No! The votes actually mattered a great deal to us. Not only did they provide overwhelming support for the fork (which we as the discord group organizing this discussion are very thankful for), but they provided the criterion by which we evaluated this new option, RuneScape. Based on the arguments provided by the votes we found it would be a disservice to the wiki to not fully consider this new option. We are very sorry that we could not include this option in the first place, but the publicity of the vote was what brought this option to our attention. We will no longer be accepting new requests to prevent this from happening in the future. The decision is not one that we want to take lightly and we want to make sure that consensus is built before we move forward. We thank you for your participation in this important discussion! I missed vote, but strongly support forking.[]
Fandom has had a LOT of issues ever since they rolled out the so-called "unified community platform". First of all the new editor kind of sucks in general. Second, as Phoenix SC's recent video about this discussion points out, the number of ads you see when you load any given article is kind of insane, especially the video that follows you as you scroll down the page. Finally, I have generally felt my user experience was better overall when the wiki I was on was hosted LITERALLY ANYWHERE EXCEPT FANDOM.--Twisted Code a.k.a.
