- If you care to follow these bug lists (which you should do if you want to contribute) you should know that Mojang are constantly working on improving this and it is getting better every snapshot. Please be more civilized with your comments - there's no need to swear :) --Mattrition 10:58, 28 June 2012 (UTC)
Enchantment table and bookshelf recipes unbalanced for ocean biomes.
Because books now require one leather each crafting them for bookshelves and the enchantment table in an ocean biome requires the player to travel to a biome where cows spawn or find villagers to trade items with in order to create books for enchantment tables and bookshelves in ocean biomes. This makes them very unbalanced as there is no way for a player to get desirable enchantments on items because of the lack of a resource required for the enchantment table and bookshelves without sometimes having to travel large distances to find the needed items. This qualifies as an annoyance but I'm not sure which section it would belong in, any suggestions are welcome. BrickVoid 10:11, 28 June 2012 (UTC)
- I'd like to file this annoyance under gameplay because balance issues are usually related to gameplay, does anyone think a different section would work better for this annoyance? BrickVoid 21:18, 29 June 2012 (UTC)
Framerate reduction
[A] This snapshot gives me around 23 fps which is half of what I got in last week's snapshot (anywhere from 45-60). 208.107.42.228 16:45, 27 June 2012 (UTC)
- Please disregard. Turns out firefox had a memory leak. --208.107.42.228 21:52, 27 June 2012 (UTC)
- As the annoyance isn't valid I've moved it out of the way. --82.69.54.207 11:22, 28 June 2012 (UTC)
Signs have major issues.
Ever since the latest snapshot, the signs frequently appear blank, and I cannot determine the cause. Version: 12w26a
- Yeh, its been posted on the page already, and Dinnerbone appears to be working on it according to his twitter --Mattrition 09:43, 2 July 2012 (UTC)
- This is hopefully fixed now. --Jeb 14:55, 3 July 2012 (UTC)
Moving Fixed Issues
If I may ask, can we please stop re-adding the bug severity when moving fixed bugs? I mean, I usually change "[!!] " to "[F] ", and then I see it moved with the tag "[!!] [F] ". The reason why I'm asking is because I use the [!!] tag to quickly find important issues, but if fixed issues keep those tags it makes it a bit harder for me. Not the end of the world, though :) (And soon we may move on to a proper bug tracking system.) --Jeb 15:00, 3 July 2012 (UTC)
- I do this because thats what the instructions command :p probably for no other reason than aesthetics though. I'll rewrite the instructions because there is now a reason for doing it the other way. Good to know that you're thinking about using a proper tracker! --Mattrition 17:48, 3 July 2012 (UTC)
- Ok, we will do that. A "real" bug tracker (Bugzilla ? Jira ?) would be fine for you and us - now it's annoying for us to report the same issues again and again and I assume it's even more annoying for you to read the same issues in different incarnations for each snapshot... --Kumasasa 17:49, 3 July 2012 (UTC)
