Hey, is this considered a bug, or an advantage for separating redstone? Basically, redstone on upside-down stairs/slabs doesn't connect to redstone on upside-down stairs/slabs(that are on a different layer). Nevermind, the redstone is connected, but the texture isn't shown...

Unite the lag bugs in one?
There are a lot of bugs in the page related to the lag after the SP/MP merge. Should I unite all of them in just one, keeping the original text in this Discussion page? Lvxferre 04:57, 24 June 2012 (UTC)
Oak trees not generating branches
Is this just back luck, or oak trees, when grown, don't generate branches anymore? Tested with creative and bone meal, in an open space. Lvxferre 06:45, 24 June 2012 (UTC)
- Update: managed to make ONE from ~60 saplings grow into a branched tree. And they are growing even at midnight without torches. Lvxferre 06:52, 24 June 2012 (UTC)
Removed Bugreports
[X] Endermen shake for a few seconds before teleporting. ISQ Talk 14:53, 21 June 2012 (UTC)
- Is that not normal behavior for them? --Mattrition 15:24, 21 June 2012 (UTC)
[X] Experience orbs now drop from smelting or mining ore, but only from coal - I've not had orbs drop from iron ore blocks. Not tried it with other ore types yet. (Personally, I think adding these drops in makes it far too easy to level up - I almost got up to lvl40 after two days). --Bpdlr 09:16, 25 June 2012 (UTC)
- The logic behind that is quite easy: You get the XP when picking up the final product. Iron Ore is not the final product, hence you get no XP when mining ores. When smelting the ores you get the XP. Not a bug. Intended. Vote for removal. --80.134.12.135 09:46, 25 June 2012 (UTC)
- Yep, very much intended. Moved to discussion. --Mattrition 09:52, 25 June 2012 (UTC)
- Yup, makes sense now. Cheers! --Bpdlr 15:23, 25 June 2012 (UTC)
Discussion:Inventory Clogging
[A] The number of unique items in the game keeps increasing, but we still have the same amount of inventory spaces, resulting in very easy and fast inventory clogging. <MCKMan> 16:05, 22 June 2012 (UTC)
- This is especially true when taking into account the new types of planks and stairs. Maybe simply adding another 9 slots and adding 2 more to the hotbar?
- Agreed. But IMO, the idea with two more slots on the hotbar is not so good. It would ruin the "9 slot symmetry" if we had 11 slots on the hotbar. Furthermore, how would the 11th slot be activated (using the keyboard) the 10th one could be activated by 0. There is no other number left for the 11th slot. I think the hotbar should stay the same, but add another row to the inventory. <MCKMan> 08:04, 23 June 2012 (UTC)
- Disagree. We've got the Ender chest which is in fact a expansion of the inventory, even more now since the ender chest is player-bound. Expanding the native inventory would make the game too easy. --Kumasasa 08:45, 23 June 2012 (UTC)
- What you are saying is that they should not add another row to the inventory because we have chests and that chests are an expansion to the inventory. The ender chest requires you to walk up to it just as you would walk up to a normal chest and is meant for long distance connections (or inter-dimensional) not as an expanion. Your argument is invalid and Mojang should STILL add another row to the inventory. <MCKMan> 12:40, 23 June 2012 (UTC)
- This is a feature request. If you want to ask Mojang to add something to the game you have to ask them yourself through e-mail or twitter. --Moxxy 04:38, 24 June 2012 (UTC)
- Oh, the typical Moxxy... the OP is about the annoyance that the inventory is getting clogged really fast and easily. Basically what you just said is that fixing a language file is a feature request :I <MCKMan> 10:48, 24 June 2012 (UTC)
- Fixing != Adding --Moxxy 14:24, 24 June 2012 (UTC)
- Oh, you... This is a fix to the fast clogging inventory... 1-0 for me! (I sent a tweet to Jeb_ anyway)<MCKMan> 14:39, 24 June 2012 (UTC)
- You guys are treading a fine and vague line between "feature request" and "annoyance". Inventory clogging is probably a valid annoyance, but in my eyes its a very picky one. --Mattrition 10:08, 26 June 2012 (UTC)
