Water

Trying to reroute water underground that has been falling for a while, will sometimes leave the water flow at blocks it shouldn't really get to. Rywern 02:35, 10 September 2011 (UTC)

Any images to clarify? | JSan 02:36, 10 September 2011 (UTC)
Here I have removed the sourceblock and the water you see refuses to dry out. http://oi56.tinypic.com/wlyaua.jpg Rywern 02:48, 10 September 2011 (UTC)

Another picture showing what I meant in the first post. This is only affecting water that was there when the map was created. The water in this pic is flowing upwards, towards the block in question (northwest of the cursor, the dirt block) which was the block blocking the other waterfalls flow. http://i51.tinypic.com/55nlfp.png Rywern 03:07, 10 September 2011 (UTC)
I've seen this bug before 1.8 on my smp server, I cleared a spring but there was a small puddle of water left behind in the middle of the cavern Sven The Slayer 03:27, 10 September 2011 (UTC)

In 1.8, when the water is generated, sometimes the water will generate OVER sea level.

In some lakes 'air pockets' can form, usually 2x2x1 blocks. Confirmed (see picture) for lakes need conformation for rivers and oceans. Photo: http://img13.imageshack.us/img13/9622/20110910155012.png

Lighting Bugs

The new stone type in 'stairs/steps' form has lighting errors in the open spot. http://i.imgur.com/cm0nw.png

NPC Villages + Enderman bug

Are npc villages meant to be empty? All i see in npc villages are sheep are cows. Also, Enderman hardly ever teleport and dont try to sneak on me and are very slow and seem to walk up to me and attack.

Click 'n jump issues

The old favourite 'Jump and click on the block beneath you to build' doesn't work for me, I think it probably has something to do with the right-click continuity error.

Sun + Moon bug

on one side of the world the moon is up. then i look behind me. the sun is already half up!
