Creative Mode Drop Bug
Hitting the block under any that pops off if the below block is destroyed. This happens with - Grass drops seeds - Flowers drop flowers - Rails drop rails. And many more.
Weather through tree

It doesn't happen with any other block as far as I'm aware.

Creative Block Drops
