Starting a translation[]
- Name translated articles, project pages, and help pages like this: MCW:Projects/lang translation/NAMESPACE:PAGENAME
- Name translated modules and categories like this: NAMESPACE:lang translation/PAGENAME
- Translated templates can be named either way, but should be consistent within a specific translation.
- Category links should be removed and optionally replaced with uses of
{{lcl}}(translate the category name).
Finishing a translation[]
Once the site for the new language is created, do not copy-paste all the contents from the project pages to there. Instead, wait for the pages to be imported.
