About Minecraft

Minecraft is a sandbox construction game, inspired by Infiniminer, Dwarf Fortress and Dungeon Keeper, created by Markus Persson, the founder of Mojang AB. The game involves players creating and destroying various types of blocks in a three dimensional environment. The player takes an avatar that can destroy or create blocks, forming fantastic structures, creations and artwork across the various multiplayer servers in multiple game modes.

Minecraft is currently in beta, available to players for €14.95 (~$21/~£13). Beta singleplayer and Beta multiplayer, when purchased, can be played in the user's web browser, or using the downloadable client. Minecraft Classic is available to play for free. Minecraft development started around the 10^th of May 2009, pre-orders for the full game started being accepted on the 13^th of June 2009. Minecraft's official release date is planned to be on the 18^th of November 2011, which is in Template:Releasedate days.

-For anyone willing to report this to Notch; I've noticed that armor, (full steel was what I was using) since it's new durability, is invalid to the HUD now since I had a full set on and it was showing that I had about 4 armor shards missing. After about twenty minutes of fighting in the Nether, I noticed that I only had my chest and pants left, when my armor said it was practically full. Just a warning for anyone that hasn't run into this issue yet.

You wouldn't be able to make a custom skin as Curse would be extremely unlikely to accept it due it making upgrading the wiki more difficult. Before I found out about that I even started working on a skin based on the minecraft forum skin. I tried to make within the constraints of vector, but it just made it too limited.

All the gif images' transparency is made for a white background, various vector styling and images are made for a white background, they'd all need to be changed.
