Do pandas spawn naturally as babies, or only when using spawn eggs? Diffs: 1331010

Tested in 19w08a, that baby pandas can rarely spawn naturally. Can anyone else confirm this aswell? - Magiczocker (talk) 18:01, 29 February 2020 (UTC)
I don't think anyone else need to confirm this aswell, so I mark this request as done. - Magiczocker (talk) 09:48, 11 September 2020 (UTC)

Alpha v1.0.1

Were redstone dust and redstone ore named red dust and red ore, respectively, in this version? Diffs: 1250822

There were no official item names until Beta, so there is no "actual name".  Nixinova T  C   03:25, 30 November 2020 (UTC)

Alpha v1.1.2 and Java Edition removed features

Was calm4.ogg removed in Alpha v.1.1.2 Diffs: 1292789 • 1292787

The music was scraped really soon after it was added. Most of people agree on that it was removed in Alpha v1.1.2. There are no other theories I personally know. --TreeIsLife (talk) 17:33, 28 July 2021 (UTC)

Bone Meal

When coral was introduced in Bedrock Edition beta 1.2.14.2, could bone meal be used to generate them already? Diffs: 1252671

A director verified it 2 weeks before the change --TreeIsLife (talk) 17:38, 28 July 2021 (UTC)

Coral

Does coral now drop itself only with the Silk Touch enchantent in Bedrock, like also in Java Edition? Diffs: 1250410 • 1250411

Doesn't seem to drop at all, whatever you try. -Pepijn (talk) 09:58, 5 September 2018 (UTC)
So how do you suggest to fix these edits? I'm really confused. It appears they're sying that it does drop, but requires Silk Touch, just like how it works in Java. So you're sure that is false for corals in Bedrock Edition, in that it drops nothing even with the enchantment? – Jack McKalling [ Talk Contrib ] 08:27, 15 October 2018 (UTC)
Can confirm what pepijn said, I tried to fix it, go and look (I'll keep this open until it's good). FVbico (talk) 11:56, 17 January 2019 (UTC)
Tested in latest beta 1.16.100.55 that coral and coral fans only drop with silk touch. - Magiczocker (talk) 09:22, 11 September 2020 (UTC)

Do dolphins immediately start to suffocate when transported into the nether from the overworld without creative mode? Diffs: 1231904

No, this is false information (and it doesn't matter if you use creative or not, the dolphin's air value will not be affected by your gamemode) FVbico (talk) 12:04, 17 January 2019 (UTC)

Drowned

Has the spawn rate for drowned that spawn with a trident been changed to 2% on Java? Diffs: 1251306 • 1251471

I don't think the chances ever changed. But don't take my word for it. FVbico (talk) 14:03, 16 August 2018 (UTC)
Late update; They have a 6.25% chance of spawning with one, which is currently accurately represented on the page. I don't know when this changed, if ever. -PancakeIdentity (talk) 02:28, 25 April 2020 (UTC)
It was probably a vandalism. The changelog does not say nothing about 2% trident appearing and it was already changed to 6.25%. --TreeIsLife (talk) 06:57, 28 July 2021 (UTC)

Is this true about the sounds of drowned in Bedrock Edition? Diffs: 1217915 • 1249407

I've patrolled the second diff here already, because a {{verify}} was added to it later. But it still needs te be verified. – Jack McKalling [ Talk Contrib ] 12:06, 6 August 2018 (UTC)
Since it stays here (and lost {{Verify}}) it looks like it is right and it was already checked. --TreeIsLife (talk) 06:57, 28 July 2021 (UTC)

Was it really in 1.13-pre1 that drowned got a swimming animation (it's not listed there)? Diffs: 1228208

New swimming animation not present in 18w21a, but present in 18w22c. Still should be narrowed down. – Sealbudsman talk | contribs 02:02, 7 August 2018 (UTC)
The new swimming animation is now also mentioned on the 1.13-pre1 page in this edit. – Jack McKalling [ Talk Contrib ] 10:25, 7 August 2018 (UTC)
The new swimming animation was added in 18w22a. - Magiczocker (talk) 10:20, 11 September 2020 (UTC)
All right, I've moved the change note to the correct version now. – Jack McKalling [ ] 10:47, 11 September 2020 (UTC)

Drowned spawn in bodies of water, but do they specifically only do so under sea level? Diffs: 1257367

Partially checked: Only naturally spawns in ocean and river biomes; zombies can convert inside any body of water. Lê Duy Quang (Make some words | Contributions) at 9h49:17 | 26/9/2019 (UTC)
Fully checked: Naturally spawning drowned in rivers can spawn at any height level, in oceans can only spawn at least 6 blocks below the ocean level. Lê Duy Quang (Make some words | Contributions) at 10h15:08 | 26/9/2019 (UTC)

Do drowned really not naturally spawn in warm oceans, at light level of 7 or lower? Diffs: 1267144

Can confirm; drowned are not in the mob spawn list for warm oceans, and that is the only ocean biome where this is the case. –Sonicwave talk 05:21, 23 February 2020 (UTC)

Elder Guardian

Are Elder Guardians bosses in Bedrock Edition? I remember hearing about this elsewhere as well. Diffs: 1561953

Yes, they are in Bedrock Edition and considered as monsters. - Magiczocker (talk) 08:54, 11 September 2020 (UTC)

End city

What is the rarity of ships generated in end cities? Diffs: 1296093 • 1433855

@Leduyquang753: you added more detail about the rarity, thanks. Please don't remove the original diff link, just add a new one if you add info as opposed to resolve the request completely. What's still missing, however? – Jack McKalling [ ] 08:36, 14 December 2019 (UTC)
The article should be correct as some info was removed and the remaining is here for 1.5 years without any change. So at the end, 1/2 possibility for a bridge. When there is a bridge, 1/8 possibility of generating an end ship --TreeIsLife (talk) 15:19, 28 July 2021 (UTC)

End Portal Frame

Do end portal frame blocks transmit redstone power, or can a comparator only produce a signal from the block due to the filled-state of the portal frame? Diffs: 1255028

I tested this myself already, and at least in JE 1.12.2 comparators are only able to pick up the filled-state of the block, not a redstone signal that runs into the block. Neither weak nor strongly powering the portal frame outputs any signal. There is still the possibility that some other edition does allow redstone powering the portal frame however, this needs to be tested. – Jack McKalling [ Talk Contrib ] 21:34, 16 October 2018 (UTC)
Also tested in latest snapshot 18w50a, same result. – Jack McKalling [ Talk Contrib ] 23:14, 17 December 2018 (UTC)
Also tested in latest snapshot 20w09a, that end portal frames can only transmit a redstone signal based on the filled state. - Magiczocker (talk) 17:18, 29 February 2020 (UTC)
Tested in Bedrock Edition aswell, that the end portal frames can only transmit redstone power with a comparator based on the fill state. - Magiczocker (talk) 08:58, 11 September 2020 (UTC)

Infested Block

Does letting silverfish infest stone bricks (variant) blocks or cobblestone blocks turn these blocks all into just Infested Stone (or "Stone Monster Egg"), in Bedrock Edition? Diffs: 1259928

No, only stone and stone bricks turn into infested stone when a silverfish enters the block, the others have its own invested variant. - Magiczocker (talk) 08:48, 11 September 2020 (UTC)

Are infested blocks available in the creative inventory in Legacy Console editions (as Silverfish Blocks)? Diffs: 1264743

Yes – Nixinova 06:23, 1 February 2019 (UTC)

Pi Edition

Could players die when falling in the void in this edition and is "All mobs in Pocket Edition Alpha 0.6.1 are still in the game's code but they can only be spawned by loading a Pocket Edition map with mobs" true? Diffs: 1294868 • 1294869

The question All mobs in Pocket Edition Alpha 0.6.1 are still in the game's code but they can only be spawned by loading a Pocket Edition map with mobs is true. I created a survival world on minecraft pocket edition alpha 0.6.1 and copied it to my raspberry pi. When opening the world, all mobs are there, but can't get hit by the player. - Magiczocker (talk) 13:03, 8 November 2020 (UTC)
The question Could players die when falling in the void in this edition is true. - Magiczocker (talk) 14:05, 8 November 2020 (UTC)

Tropical Fish (item)

Were clownfish renamed to tropical fish in the Bedrock Edition in 1.4? Diffs: 1256154

Yes, they were renamed. --TreeIsLife (talk) 10:36, 28 July 2021 (UTC)

Wood

Was it Pocket Edition 1.0 build 1, now Pocket Edition alpha 0.17.0.1, where bark was added to BE placeable via setblock command? Diffs: 1245267

Yes - Items in Bedrock Edition have numeral IDs (like Java Edition had). With addition of commands to Bedrock, it became possible to do so. --TreeIsLife (talk) 16:57, 28 July 2021 (UTC)
