Chicken

Can chickens spawn in the Nether? References MCBug:41929 but Mojira is not loading. Diffs: 1314531

Mojira is loading for me. The bug is closed by Nathan Adams as Works as Intended. He states chickens in the Nether are the result of chicken jockeys losing their rider (the previous conversation seems to imply the rider and the mount have separate and different despawning conditions). --AttemptToCallNil (report bug, view backtrace) 09:23, 1 February 2019 (UTC)

So I understand they indeed cannot ride boats in Bedrock edition, because it wasn't intended behaviour in the first place. Emerald Ore

Does emerald ore continue to stay generated in mountains, even if the world is customized? Diffs: 1239275

Yes, the generation of emerald ore is based on the biome, with customized, mountains still generate emerald ore; however, that line makes it sound like “there’ll always be more emerald ore than dismond ore in mountains”, which won’t be true when diamond ore chances are incremented.

Igloo

Did igloos really lose the ability to spawn with different colored beds in bedrock 1.10.0.3 beta? Diffs: 1314621

Java Edition 1.13

Can players jump across a gap of 6 blocks when sprinting under the Slow Falling status effect? Diffs: 1246675

Looks like Pokechu22 already patrolled the edit without reverting. However, I tried in Java to jump 6 blocks and I could not get there, no matter how straight of a path I went or how close to the edge I jumped from. Unable to reproduce (around 30 times). Reverting edit, and going to clarify that 6 block gap is only possible when starting point is 1 block higher, as this is the only way I could get it to work. Java Edition 1.14

Are there going to be 9 or 10 new cat skins for Java Edition 1.14, seeing there might be 10 already in Bedrock edition? Diffs: 1265906 • 1265927 • 1265933

Kelp

If a kelp stalk part is broken, does it break only all parts above it? And secondly, does it have a growth height limit of 24 blocks? Diffs: 1246816

I can confirm that. It also seems the 24 value is accurate, but not in the context of the edit. The current mechanic on the page is correct however, so no change is needed. Actually, the edit was correct. Or at least by now in 18w50a. You can't place kelp in flowing water. But you can place kelp in a downward flowing non-source water column and it will turn its block space into a water source. So I'm going to modify it to make this clearer. Leaves

Can leaves really make observers pulse? Diffs: 1245136

The wording is VERY arbitrary. They can make observers pulse, but only if the distance block state changes (the nearest log/wood is (re)moved), so I'm removing this line, as it's still a block state change, and not actually random pulsing. FVbico (talk) 20:54, 6 November 2018 (UTC)

Panda

Do playful baby pandas have different movement logic than others, such as falling off cliffs and wandering into water? Diffs: 1303934

Nope, wrong. Although baby pandas temporarily "loose" movement logic as they roll over, such as rolling off a cliff, they don't deliberately walk off of it, even if they follow your bamboo. This is very likely intended, the same thing also applies to hopping bunnies. Wandering into water works exactly the same, if they roll they can (unintentionally) fall into it, but never intentionally move into it. Making them follow you with bamboo will not prevent them walking into water however, it's not like they can't swim. So baby pandas behave exactly the same as any other from these findings. No, again this is false information. Lazy pandas lying on their back will not follow you if you hold bamboo. They will follow you if they're walking, and even when they're not, they're still looking at you as you move, so "ignoring" is just misleading. Phantom

Turtle

Are turtles called "Turtle" in legacy console editions? Diffs: 1259493

Okay, closing this topic now. The editor claimed the mob ID in LCE was "turtle" anyway, so they're just "turtles" in all editions. Any other item or block in game referencing "sea turtle" is just using a different name than the actual mob itself, eventhough the mob technically is indeed a "sea" turtle. Marking edit as patrolled and request as done. Exactly which structures of underwater ruins have chests that can contain explorer maps? Diffs: 1224136

The only structure who has no "chest" structure block is underwater_ruin/mossy_1, and both chests/underwater_ruins_big and chests/underwater_ruin_small loot tables can create burried tressure maps, so all structures except mossy_1... :/ FVbico (talk) 10:06, 6 December 2018 (UTC)

Spawn rates of the wandering trader. According to AntVenom this information is somehow wrong. Diffs: 1313560

Regarding what this previously said ("urgent" and "and he’s dissing us for it"), we shouldn’t care about that, the wiki is full of mis-information, just look at this whole page. If he’s attacking the wiki because it’s wrong, block it out by saying he should then correct it rather than badmouth us.

I'm not saying you need to be a patroller to be able to contribute, that'd be a misinterpretation of the edit warning at the top. I mean, this page needs proof for all statements for it to be effective, as we're already trying to verify information with this page. And if no sources are provided, any posted message here would need additional verification (which is overhead work). Woodland mansion

Do pillagers and illager beasts spawn in woodland mansions? Diffs: 1292534

 Comment The Pillager and Illager Beast pages were also changed to state that they spawn in mansions (Special:Diff/1292539 and Special:Diff/1292545), but these edits were marked as patrolled. I reversed this change on the Woodland mansion page since I haven't been able to find any pillagers or illager beasts in 5 different mansions (in different worlds), and this change wasn't listed in the minecraft.net article or reported on the bug tracker; but I wanted to make sure in case I'm just getting unlucky. –Sonicwave talk 08:21, 18 December 2018 (UTC)

In 19w35a, the saturation modifier of honey bottle is 0,8, which corresponds to 9,6 saturation points. As of 1.15.2, it is 0,1, corresponding to 1,2 saturation points.
