- [!!] The Locked Chest (ID 95) will crash the game if existant in 13w02b.
[A!] Movement gets blocked sporadically. Will be walking and then what seems to be an invisible wall gets in my way and I am required to back up and move left or right around the apparent wall blocking my path. usually not able to walk more then 50 blocks without occurance. Makes game nearly unplayable. --I have the same problem on SMP. Exiting and rejoining will spawn trees/leaves/cacti.
This issue seems to be in lines e.g. if you go creative and travel over the buggy sections you can clearly see lines of cut trees in the map.
eyeOh: I can verify this as well. It appears to be a chunk loading issue. It seems the chunk loaded incorrectly/corrupted, a game restart seems to fix this for the offending chunk, but the issue will arise again in a "later" chunk. I came across this several times while exploring and with time should be easy to reproduce.
[A!] Redstone blocks being moved by pistons (sticky or regular) upward prevents the piston from retracting even if the power source that extended it is removed. This bug only occurs when the block is being lifted up, any other direction and the piston can be retracted. -- 02:45, 14 January 2013 (UTC)
[!] Textures for quartz related blocks, hoppers, and redstone comparators are blank white and have " missing texture" written all over them. This is on a Powermac.
Same issues on Windows 7 PC :( The 'stichedin.png' file doesn't have the textures just a white box with 'textures missing' at it appears in game.
[X] Particle effect for breaking doors, both wood and Iron, Seem to be based off of the missing Image portion of the stitched_terrain.png and not the door image itself. I initially noticed while using a texture pack but after checking default textures the bug still occurs. -- 04:45, 13 January 2013 (UTC)
[X] Texture on one side of wooden door isn't mirrored. Causing what looks like the door opening the wrong way from one side.
[A!] Abandoned mineshafts generated in 13w02b will occasionally generate strangely. Some corridors will be 1 or 2 blocks wide with stone that transforms into wood/fences/etc when mined. May be lag, but has never happened before 13w02b. Placing torches on bugged blocks will make the bugged block become the block it is supposed to be. Seems to be exclusive to single-player. This only applied to mineshafts, strongholds and other structures are not affected.
