- Bot / Tools Authentication
The method for setting up an account to use a bot or other external editors using the API interface has been updated as of 1 March 2017. Logging in to third-party tools now makes use of a password generator to create a new login for automated tools, accessible at Special:BotPasswords on any Gamepedia wiki. - The style guide now allows a section in version articles called "Unconfirmed features", containing links to mentioned features for features not fully confirmed for the update. - The style guide now allows users to rewrite the bug tracker issue titles, though it discourages making major changes. (link|diff|discussion)
- The style guide now states that bugs are not history, along with a basic exception for bugs that contradict the article. (link|diff|discussion)
- The style guide now allows articles on Minecraft developers, in case a Minecraft developer is not a part of Mojang AB (link|diff|discussion)

Requests for comment are for assisting editors in gathering further input on any wiki matter. This can be useful in generating discussion, resolving disputes, or reaching consensus. All editors are welcome to assist with a request by responding within the linked talk page. Remember that the Minecraft Wiki operates on a system of consensus rather than voting, and explaining your reasoning can generally be more helpful than simply supporting one side of a dispute.
