Description
The Minecraft Wiki is a public and editable website that is managed and maintained by a massive group of contributors from the Minecraft community and the wiki's administration team.
The wiki was founded by Citricsquid on July 16th, 2009 as a way to document information from Minecraft, then since November 15th, 2010, it has been hosted by Curse Media, until December 12th, 2018 as it has been hosted by Fandom, Inc. It is powered by the open source and free MediaWiki wiki software. Minecraft content and materials are trademarks and copyrights of Mojang Studios. All content on Minecraft Wiki (with the exception of Mojang-owned images, art, and lore) is licensed under the CC BY-NC-SA 3.0 license.
