The '''Giant Ghast''' or the '''Wither Ghast''' is an antagonist and [[Minecraft Story Mode:Mob|boss mob]] that appears in "Jailhouse Block". It is an exclusive variant of the [[Minecraft Story Mode:Ghast|ghast]], created by [[Minecraft Story Mode:Romeo|Romeo]].

== Behavior ==
Unlike the [[Minecraft Story Mode:Ghast|Ghast]], the Giant Ghast is able to fire multiple volleys of exploding fireballs similar to a [[Minecraft Story Mode:Blaze|Blaze]], fire curveball fireballs, and groups of fireballs. It is also able to call [[Minecraft Story Mode:Ghast|Ghasts]] to aid it.

== Appearance ==
The Giant Ghast is, as the name implies, a giant version of a [[Minecraft Story Mode:Ghast|ghast]]. It has three faces: the main one at the front and smaller, secondary ones on its right and left side akin to the [[Wither]]. It is dark gray in color, in contrast to the white of a typical [[Minecraft Story Mode:Ghast|Ghast]], and has a vulnerable red spot on top of its head.

== Appearances ==
* In "Jailhouse Block", towards the end of the chapter, [[Minecraft Story Mode:Jesse|Jesse]] encounters the Giant Ghast while traversing through the maze of the [[Minecraft Story Mode:Sunshine Institute|Sunshine Institute]]. It then attacks [[Minecraft Story Mode:Jesse|Jesse]] and calls upon several normal [[Minecraft Story Mode:Ghast|Ghasts]] to attack them.

When [[Minecraft Story Mode:Jesse|Jesse]] knocked back a fireball at the Giant Ghast, it began spitting several fireballs around itself frantically, accidentally hurting the [[Minecraft Story Mode:Ghast|Ghasts]] around it. This was taken as an attack by the [[Minecraft Story Mode:Ghast|Ghasts]] causing them to fire back. Jesse then jumped on the [[Minecraft Story Mode:Ghast|Ghasts]]' heads to reach the Giant Ghast and stab it in its weak point. When the Giant Ghast died, the other [[Minecraft Story Mode:Ghast|Ghasts]] did as well.

== Trivia ==
* Unlike other [[Minecraft Story Mode:Ghast|Ghasts]], the Giant Ghast can shoot multiple fireballs at once instead of one. It can also survive multiple fireball attacks.
