Minecraft Live 2023 is an upcoming live event that will be held on October 15, 2023, at 17:00 UTC. It will feature a mob vote.[1] It will feature announcing new features too.

Announcement

The event was announced in a video released by Mojang Studios on September 13, 2023, on their official YouTube channel.

Mob Vote

As with MINECON Earth 2017 and Minecraft Live 2020, 2021 and 2022, Players with Microsoft account will be able to vote for a new mob to be added to the game.

The vote is slated to begin on October 13th at 1PM EDT, and end on October 15th at 1:15PM EDT. As with last year, the vote will take place across three areas: a server on Bedrock Edition, via the Minecraft launcher, and on Minecraft.net.[1]

Mobs

Here is a list including the three voted mobs ranked by announced orders:

  • Crabs - Spawn in Mangrove Swamps. Drop a Crab Claw, player interact with blocks further.
  • Armadillos - Spawn in warm biomes and curl into a ball for protection. Drop an Armadillo Scute, and craft protective armor for wolves.
  • Penguins - Spawn in Stony Shores. Slow on land but fast in water. Boosts the speed of boat.
