Minecraft Live 2021 is an upcoming event set to go live on October 16, 2021 at 4 PM UTC. It will announce the next update after Caves & Cliffs: Part II[1] and will contain a mob vote[2].

Announcement

The event was mentioned in a video released by Mojang called "Caves & Cliffs Special: Looking Forward". Agnes Larsson said that the next major update would be announced at Minecraft Live 2021.

The event was later formally announced in a video by Mojang released on September 2, 2021.

Mob vote

For the Minecon Earth 2017 Mob Vote, see Minecon Earth 2017 § Mob Vote.
For the Minecraft Live 2020 Mob Vote, see Minecraft Live 2020 § Mob Vote.

As with Minecraft Live 2020 and Minecon Earth 2017, there will be a mob vote, in which the winning mob will be added to the game in a future update. Each mob is planned to receive its own video justifying its inclusion.

Glare

The glare[3], is a small vex-like mob that will be able to alert players to an area that is dark enough for hostile mobs to spawn in. The glare hovers above the ground and has a green material covering everything except for it's wide eyes.[4]
