Generic horde[]
I suggest reverting the edits that irrevocably tie hordes to piglins and th e great hog specifically, and instead treat them as a more general term for an enemy group within the game. Partly because of the comic that implies that hordes still exist in the nether on the future but without the great hog backing them, but primarily for preparation of future DLC or expansion that introduces hordes of non-piglins, such as endermen hordes or blazes and wither skeletons with no piglins James Silvercat (talk) 16:34, 15 May 2023 (UTC)
- I do not understand what you are suggesting. You state that there are still hordes of Piglins in the Nether. Regardless of that being false or not, the Great Hog is the canonical main antagonist and he leads the three (3) hordes. Sure, he has the generals (Beast, Devourer, and Unbreakable), as well as an adviser (Seer), however, he is ultimately the leader. So not tying him to his own army would be foolish. Unless I understood it wrong. Then I request you review your proposal and rewrite it. I wish you an awesome week! - Ashbequeath (talk) 20:56, 15 May 2023 (UTC)
I see "horde" as a term that can be applied to species other than piglins, even if we do not see any other kind in the game currently. I believe future DLC might introduce "endermen hordes", for example. I also see that piglin hordes do not stop existing after the death of the individual character named "great hog", as i understood from the novelization, even if a character with a similar status might be present, and thus his presence is not a necessity. I hope this clarifies my commentary James Silvercat (talk) 20:25, 16 May 2023 (UTC)
- The we should call it Piglin Horde/Hordes. Problem solved.
