The Great Hog is the leader of the piglins, and the primary antagonist and final boss within Minecraft Legends.
Story
Before the events of the game. The Great Hog summoned all its horde generals to its planning map table where the Beast raises its arm up to give it a Horde of the Hunt banner then the Great Hog takes it and smashes it to a place in the map. The Beast nods in agreement and sends piglins towards the portal, the Great Hog then laughs menacingly.
Foresight afterwards senses the evil of the Great Hog coming for the Overworld where Foresight proceeds to tell Action and Knowledge to come with it to the Overworld to investigate the nether portal. They then recruit the Hero to stop the piglins and the Great Hog.
After the Hero defeats multiple Piglin Outposts we cut to the Nether where see the Great Hog choking the Beast then it throws the Beast towards a wall. The Great Gog afterwards calls upon the Seer and the Great Hog points towards a place in the map, the Seer then asks four piglins to bring it a beacon, after the piglins bring the beacon to the Seer it corrupts it with the Orb of Dominance where the Great Hog is mesmerized by the corrupting. The Seer tells the three piglins to place the corrupted beacon on top of the nether portal within the Night Beacon. The corrupted beacon then proceeds to beam up to the sun where it poisons it and turns the Overworld to a forever night. The Hero then sets off to destroy it. After successfully destroys the night beacon a piglin comes through the nether portal and rushed towards the Great Hog and it's generals to tell them the night beacon was destroyed. After telling them it was destroyed the Great Hog gets angry and with its generals proceeds to catch the piglin and presumably kills it.
While the war in the Overworld rages on the Great Hog's generals one by one travels to the Overworld to try and kill the Hero failing and dying in the process. Three piglins of each horde brings the dead generals artifacts(The Devourer's back pink spore, The Unbreakable's mortar and the Beast's bone mask) to its throne room, the Great Hog gets furious and throws the three piglins to the sky. The Seer then approaches the Great Hog where it gives the Great Hog's staff magic. Feeling more stronger and powerful it destroys the replica Well of Fate and beats its chest to show dominance it proceeds to head towards a Nether portal and enters it finally seeing the Overworld. The Great Hog seeing the Well of Fate roars at it and using its staff breaks the Nether portal it came through to gather its obsidian for its staff, the Great Hog charges towards the Well of Fate spawning piglins along the way and throwing its spears.
The Hero comes towards the Well of Fate for the final battle and the Overworld's freedom from the piglins. While trying to break the Well of Fate the Great Hog notices the Hero approaching it, roars at the Hero then stops it rampage to the Well of Fate to face the player. After a ferocious and long battle between it and the Hero the Great Gog is weakened by the overworld allied mobs, it smashes the mobs attacking it knocking them back and with its remaining strength it once again tries to destroy the Well of Fate throws it's staff towards it, but the magic inside the staff backfires causing a massive nether portal rift to appear in the sky, causing all of the piglins to float towards it, before being sent back into the nether. The Great Hog then finally collapses in defeat.

Unit repair
Leggings may be repaired on an anvil by combining them with their corresponding crafting material (leather, gold ingots, iron ingots, diamonds, or netherite ingots), with each repair material restoring 25% of the leggings' maximum durability, rounded down. Any enchantments are retained. Chainmail leggings may be repaired in this way with iron ingots. Leggings may also be repaired by crafting them together with another pair of leggings of the same material, although enchantments are lost.
Mob loot
If a zombie, piglin, zombie pigman or skeleton is wearing armor, there is an 8.5% chance (9.5% with Looting I, 10.5% with Looting II and 11.5% with Looting III) for the mob to drop leggings upon death. The leggings are usually badly damaged and may be enchanted.
Vindicators and pillagers spawn in raids have a chance to drop iron leggings, which are usually badly damaged, and may be enchanted.
Chest loot
Usage
Leggings can be placed in the 3rd armor slot of a player's inventory for activation.
Defense points
Defense points are each signified by half of a shirt of mail in the armor bar above the health bar. Each defense point reduces any damage dealt to the player that is absorbed by armor by 4%, increasing additively with the number of defense points. Different materials and combinations of armor provide different levels of defense.
The following table shows the number of defense points added by leggings.

Knockback resistance
Netherite leggings provide 10% knockback resistance.
Durability
The following table shows the amount of damage each piece of armor can absorb before being destroyed.
Any "hit" from a damage source that can be blocked by armor removes one point of durability from each piece of armor worn for every 4 of incoming damage (rounded down, but never below 1). Damage taken but not protected by that armor (such as falling or drowning) does not damage the armor, even if it is enchanted to protect against that type of damage. The following chart displays how many hits leggings can endure.
Netherite armor is not damaged by lava or fire when worn.

Piglins
Piglin are attracted to golden leggings and pick them up, examining them for 6 to 8 seconds. Piglins can wear other leggings but are not attracted to them. They prefer stronger leggings over weaker leggings, with one exception: They always prefer golden leggings over all other leggings, throwing out stronger leggings in favor of gold leggings. Enchanted leggings are preferred over unenchanted leggings.
