Minecraft Festival is an in-person Minecraft convention similar to MINECON that is planned to be held in Orlando, Florida, in late 2022 on a yet to be announced date. It was originally set to be held in 25-27 September 2020, but was postponed twice due to the COVID-19 pandemic.[1][2] The online portion of the event is called Minecraft Live! [sic][3]
2022
Announcement
At MINECON Live 2019 on 28 September 2019, it was announced that Minecraft Festival would be held in Orlando, Florida, through 25-27 September 2020.[4]
On 5 March 2020, it was announced that the festival has been postponed until late 2021, due to safety concerns about the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.[1]
On 3 September 2020, during the announcement of Minecraft Live 2020, it was announced that the festival has been postponed to a yet to be announced date in 2022.[2]
Location
Minecraft Festival will be held in the South Hall at the Orange County Convention Center, located at 9899 International Drive, Orlando, Florida 32819.[5]
Tickets
Tickets will be available for purchase online beginning on 24 January 2022 at noon EST through the Minecraft Festival website.[citation needed]

There is a limit of 12 tickets per transaction. Attendees are able to purchase up to four Upgrade Package Tickets (Diamond and Gold) and eight tickets of any other type.[6]
Minecraft Festival tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.[7]
Cape
It was announced that those attending Minecraft Festival would receive an exclusive Minecraft Festival cape, compatible with both Java Edition.[8]
Policy
All minors under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent and/or guardian.
Minecraft Festival does not provide child care services of any kind.
Animals are not permitted on the Orange County Convention Center premises.
