The stormy chicken was a variant of the chicken with a dark-gray head and light-gray feathers found exclusively in Minecraft Earth.

Obtaining

Stormy chickens were of uncommon rarity, and had a 7.2% chance of being obtained from chicken tappables.

Appearance

Stormy chickens were a stormy grey variant of the chicken. Unlike normal chickens, they had all grey feathers albeit different shades with light grey for its body and dark grey for its head. They noticeably had a darker, more orange beak and legs differing it from the normal chicken.

Behavior

Stormy chickens acted exactly the same as normal chickens, walking aimlessly, and avoiding lava.

Drops

When killed, stormy chickens dropped:

0-2 Feather
1 Raw Chicken (Cooked Chicken if killed while on fire)

To eat dried kelp, press and hold {{control|use}} while it is selected in the hotbar. Eating one restores {{hunger|1}} [[hunger]] and 0.6{{only|je|short=1}} / 0.2{{only|be|short=1}} hunger [[Hunger#Mechanics|saturation]].

A player can consume dried kelp about twice as fast as any other food item in the game.
