Real?[]

Can someone please confirm the existence of the ghost? OkSteak (talk) 14:49, 16 March 2021 (UTC)OkSteak

Well all that was given is that it is a non attackable mob that spawns in the Woodland Prison Ancient Hunt. I have not seen any pictures of it as of yet, so I will request someone to look in the files. James Haydon (talk) 15:27, 16 March 2021 (UTC)
Thanks. OkSteak (talk) 15:51, 16 March 2021 (UTC)OkSteak
I encountered the Wisp during an ancient hunt. it was in a room moving in a square pattern, phasing through walls at some points. there was a loose brick in the wall, that when interacted with, causes the wall to open simalarly to the obsidian pinnacle rune. Behind the wall is an obsidian chest. 173.67.181.186 20:31, 9 May 2021 (UTC)

Name Change[]

I suggest that we change this articles name to Wisp as Ghost and Ghast are too similar and may be confusing for newcomers. Just give me permission to do the name change, and it will be done. OkSteak (talk) 15:45, 17 March 2021 (UTC)OkSteak

I would  Support that, considering that there is no ghost name to be found in the game files. James Haydon (talk) 15:49, 17 March 2021 (UTC)
Ok, soon it will be called Wisp. I will get to work. OkSteak (talk) 17:40, 17 March 2021 (UTC)OkSteak
I can’t figure out how to make a Minecraft Dungeons page. My page is going to be deleted. Maybe we should find someone more experienced with making pages. OkSteak (talk) 17:40, 17 March 2021 (UTC)OkSteak
Ill see if I can try it, should take some moves to get it right. James Haydon (talk) 17:43, 17 March 2021 (UTC)
Okay I fixed it. James Haydon (talk) 17:46, 17 March 2021 (UTC)
Ok, much better. I also made some quick changes. OkSteak (talk) 17:55, 17 March 2021 (UTC)OkSteak
I think that the page name should change to whatever name the mob has in the actual game. After all, as far as this discussion goes, the name, Wisp, is not based on an in game name and is unofficial. Drour1234 (talk), 21 August 2021 (UTC)
I just looked through the game files, and it turns out that it is actually referred to as "Whisp." -Yekulten (talk) 17:56, 29 March 2022 (UTC)
I do not know what part of the game files you are looking in, but from where I am looking, the name of the folder is WispHint. The name of the texture file is T_Wisp. The names of the other files in the WispHint folder include WoodlandWisp and WispCore. The WispHint folder is in the Secrets folder which is in the Functional folder which is in the Prefab folder which is in the Decor folder which is in the Content_DLC4 folder which is one of the top folders in the game files. Drour1234 (talk), 29 March 2022 (UTC)
Sorry, I meant Wisp, not Whisp. I didn't know if this was still an unknown name so I was clarifying. -Yekulten (talk) 18:26, 29 March 2022 (UTC)
You might be looking at the End_Whisp_All particle wind effect in the echoing void section of the mission select map. Drour1234 (talk), 29 March 2022 (UTC)

Wisps/Ghosts in base Minecraft game?[]

I don't know if this belongs here, but maybe Mojang could add wisps/ghosts to vanilla Minecraft one day. GurgiFan57 (talk) 04:55, 8 August 2022 (UTC)
